[Toph is laying on her bunk bed cross-legged, with a huge pile of protein bars from the cafeteria in her lap. She unwraps one and takes an enormous bite, and starts to talk as she's chewing.]

So, I know there's gotta be certain Transports around who can go out into space and not choke to death or whatever, right? Metal people, monsters, or whatever.

If you can do that, I wanna know. Gimme a call, yeah? I can make it worth your time.

[chew, chew, thinking. She feels around for the recently discarded bar wrapper and holds it up towards the tablet camera, attempting to show off whatever is written on it, but failing because it's inside-out.]

Oh yeah, can anyone tell me what the heck these even are?

((EDIT A MOMENT LATER:))

Tch...!

[she grumpily turns the video back on the show the wrapper properly. someday she's gonna get lucky and get it right the first time. SOMEDAY]

Hello.

[ ...

she clears her throat. ]

So this... is akin to a linkshell, is it? In a way. It doesn't seem to be very good at letting the other side speak until I've done, and that could be disastrous. The point being--it seems most can hear me, if they choose.

Like many, I was called here to help fight a war, and so my physical and magical abilities were called on. In light of our depleted and nonexisting stores, I offer my craftmanship and gathering ability, as well. Back on Hydaelyn, I've learned the beginning stages of all kinds of work--weaving light fabric is where I'm most talented at, but I've known to alchemize grimoires and make leather boots.

Gear shouldn't be overlooked when accepting a mission. I've lost a fight or two because my armor was worn and unbefitting my new abilities.

Which brings me to another point!

Should you need something restored, I should be able to do so. I've repaired most of my equipment for a while now--be it weapons or armor.

The hurdle to all of this--should I need to make something new, I would need the materials to do so. I can make cloth, thread, leather and other simplicities on my own, but finding plants and animal hide and ore to do that... that's another road altogether. I'll make whatever you'd like--as long as I'm given the materials to make them with, or at least a location to where I may find them.

[Greetings, Exsilium. Hope you're not tired of all these new transports, because there is going to be one (1) more popping up on the network during this lovely evening. She had avoided being overly social after her initial briefing, but now she had a stomach to fill and some time to kill, so here she was. If she looks a little bit too made up for this to be a casual, spur of the moment video, that's because it's not.

It's actually a con.]

Y'know, when I got dragged here, the last thing I expected was to be nearly bored to death. [Laughing a little, mostly because haha--death. That's hilarious.] I guess I was wrong, though. Let's change that.

[And shuffling a little, if only to show a couple of coins on the feed, she explains herself.]

Tell me a story. It can be scary, funny, sad-- whatever it is you can think of. If you make me cry, I'll buy you anything you want. If you don't... you'll buy me food tonight. Sounds good? [Probably not.

But, she looks frail and young enough for this to be easy. It should be easy, right? Right. That said, she flashes a smile at her tablet and ends the recording right there.]
