So, I just thought of something that might not be a bad way to go with things.

A while back, I was dinking around with ways we might expand the moon base by going underneath the surface. From what I found, that'd have required drilling, and then sealing it well enough to keep the air inside, freshened, and generally not trying to kill us. I had concepts for the second problem, but working designs for the first.

If anyone wanted to help me get the stuff together, I could build us a mole machine! That could have all kinds of cool uses. We could just go underground, expand bases, and, you know, find stuff!

Who's with me?!?

( As desirable as hiding away in his room forever currently sounds, after over a week on the moon base, restlessness has hit Edgeworth hard. It is time to find answers to the questions that had been weighing heavily on his mind. Or, at least, the answer to one question in particular. )

It appears that much has changed since I was here last. ( He twitches slightly at that massive understatement, but reacquainting himself with his current situation had been troublesome, at best. ) I've kept myself abreast of recent events through the use of the network, but there is just one matter which I wish to enquire about further.

( He swallows, although his cravat obscures the nervous bobbing of his Adam's apple for the most part. Despite doing his best to keep his expression neutral, there is a decided tone of unease to his voice. )

If anyone knows anything regarding the whereabouts of my Shiba Inu, Pess, after ... my disappearance this past May, do let me know immediately.

A coupla days ago, someone tried to blame a missing grenade on a cat playing with it like a ball of yarn. I don't think I'm too far off questioning their sanity, am I?

[The answer is 'no'. He's more or less posting this to be a troll. He thinks by now everyone knows where that missing grenade is... or where it was used if it happened to be used.]

So! Transporty type people! I've been thinking about a few things and wanted some thoughts.

I've been studying the life support technology we're using here to, you know, live on an airless chunkarock with no completely critical problems, and it's gotten me thinking about a few things.

First, I'm thinking we need to save Exsilium by fixing the timeline. No questions there. That's step one.

However, I'm thinking this is a better platform for fighting the UE than Exsilium is once we have Exsilium back. There's a few reasons for this.

First, it keeps UE attention away from the innocent people there. That's good.
Second, it gives us angles to launch attacks anywhere on the planet Earth, whenever that time comes. That's useful.
Third, it's harder for them to come up to us to cause trouble than it is for us to go down there and cause trouble.

The problem is, we can't expand our number of Transports much more without running out of resources we can't easily grab from the past - livable space, air, and energy.

I'd like to suggest we work on a project to expand all three, and I think I've got basic ideas for all three. Lotsa details to work out, of course.

Who's got thoughts here?

Hey! Anyone here know their food science?

I found a bunch of boxes of food capsules while we were sneaking around that UE base, and the food-science types figured out that one of these little bits can provide all the nutrition needed in a day. They're working to copy them now.

Not sure how that works, I'd think you'd need stuffings to not feel hungry, but... Well, yeah.

I kept a box. Anyone care to try and analyze it, see if we can get some stocks of our own built up?

They're banana-flavored, too...

All righty! Finally managed to get something together!

Transports of Exsilium, I am proud to have jiggered out a space for a workshop!

So bring me stuff and I'll fix it up, okay?! I've been working out electrical basics and other stuff unique to here, and I can also build some nice Cryas tech for you if you have an idea in mind.

Prices are cheap - and cheaper if you can find me some bananas.

*So, that "workshop" Pascal mentioned?

Is an abandoned building with some duct tape holding the roof together. It's also very small and generally, even by Exsilium standards,, a ramshackle mess.

And no, inside is not much better, with some wood loosely shoved into a shelf-like shape, an old table, and a hammock unstably set up in one corner. The floor is dusty and unkempt...

Look, to be frank? Cheria might faint on stepping foot in here. Sorry!

Still, anyone who dares enter can work with the chipper-looking woman, organizing various acquired parts and tools to a surprisingly careful pattern.*

Okay, Cheria, don't worry about a thing! I've got this, everything's going to be just great until we can get your eyes all... Eye-ing again!

Um-- Pascal, I'm not so sure about this... I think I can do it on my own! ...Maybe...

Nuh-uh! I'm not letting you near the stove until you can read the dials. None of us want you on fire, you know!

T-then I'll just make a sandwich! I'm sure I can do that at least, right? If this is permanent I'm going to have to learn how to do this kind of stuff on my own again.

Don't think like that, Cheria. I'm sure this is temporary until we can get you all cured up or you sleep it all off! I mean, if they can revive the dead, fixing eyes has gotta be somewhere in the picture right?

[There's a short sigh and silence for a minute or two before Cheria speaks again.] I know that... But it's good to be prepared for anything, you know? I'm glad everyone wants to help out so much but I still want to be able to do stuff too.

No buts, Cheria! I'm going to make sure you're safely resting this off in bed, and that means I'm going to do the cooking! Now where are those bananas...

No, really, Pascal. You don't have to do all of this! And-- hold on a second, just what kind of meal are you planning to make!? Bananas aren't a proper diet!

Bah! I live off of 'em! What's good for the goose is good for the panda, right?

What?? That isn't how that goes, Pascal. Seriously just- I can cook for myself today!

Cheria? No. Seriously. I've got this. We'll start with a pie, those aren't too hard to make.

...Have you ever made a pie before?

Nope! But I've got notes!

It's not just as simple as that! Pascal? Pascal!

Mix the salt in with the... Wait, why do you need salt? We can drop that, right?

No, you can't!! Pascal, just make me a sandwich if you want to help!

But I can totally do better!
