[The ... high elf?! ... who shows up on the video looks and sounds pretty familiar, and let's face it this is Luminada de-aged to before the Scourge attacked. She seems considerably less depressive and reclusive right now, and more just plain shy and nervous.

This is gonna be good.]

Um, excuse me. This doesn't seem to be Silvermoon City - or, um, anywhere in Quel'Thalas at all...Could someone please be so kind as to point me home? My mother and father will likely be worried a-and Lady Savalia is really not going to be happy with me so...please?

[She pauses to pick up and hold up a tiny dragonhawk hatchling. It is baby Sirene, who just chirrups and fluffs her feathers.]

Also, somehow I have a hatchling in my care - I mean, I'm going to take care of it of course, but why would anyone remove a hatchling from its nest? That's uncalled for! The poor thing, and its mother must be worried sick!

[She clears her throat after saying all of this, a faint blush crossing her face.]

So I-I suppose that's all I have to say, so...thank you for your time.

[When the video clicks on, it's easy to think the owner of the tablet might have turned it on by accident, as it is sitting in the lap of a young woman in a bright orange robe, the hood of which is tugged down to half-hide her face, and she is looking away from the camera, out at the city. She appears to be sitting on a bench near the arrival building, if the faint bustle of people rushing about is any indication around her.]

[After a moment though she glances down at the camera and smiles faintly, one violet eye and some blonde hair visible past the edge of her hood.]

I never really thought about it, but when you know something was destroyed, if you find it again it's nice even if it's nothing like you expected.

[She shifts in a way that might be a shrug.]

Although that's assuming this isn't all simply some trick, I suppose. Or a frighteningly elaborate, complicated dream bubble. Hmm.

[She seems like she's going to say something else, then she hesitates, and after a moment's thought, reaches out to turn the tablet off. A moment or two later, there's a text message from the same account.]

Cut for lavender courier )

[When Lumi appears on the feed, she seems -

Well, she's definitely sootier than normal. She's also about as less-than-regal-looking as you can get, which is pretty strange because, y'know, blood elf. Something's up.]

There has been - that is to say, I - [Ahem.] I volunteered to make fireworks for the, ah, winter party, but it seems that I'll not be able to do so after all. I say this because my current attempt has gone horribly wrong -

[A weird mechanical firefly(?!?!) zooms past in front of her.]

- which is why I'm using the network now-

[More of them zoom past, and finally, Luminada actually gets a little annoyed.]

Could someone help me get these blasted things back under control? I'm fairly sure they're harmless, but they are certainly irritating! ...Thank you in advance.

[She snaps off the video, but one can hear a "Get back here!" as she does.

Engineering, man. Most unstable discipline ever.]

[ooc: Lumi is going to be over here trying to crowd-control the bastards. Have at and happy holidays!]

[Here's a worried looking Asgardian.]

Have we any caretakers of animals here? The sparrows that have followed me will not eat, and they tell me they are in agony. I would like to know if they can be saved or if I should end their suffering.

[The video clicks on to reveal the back of a young woman running away in terror, and a black hand waving after her.]

Thanks!

[Ophelia sounds so amused as she says that, and she turns the camera around to her face, grinning.]

So, I don't know about the rest of you, but I am definitely enjoying all of this. Such panic! [She laughs, and then shakes her head.]

Anyway, not the point. You know those poor little creatures you're all trying to kill? Those bunnies and birds and everything else. You don't have to kill them.

[She turns the camera again to show that her other hand is held out towards her side, and the black tears are stretching off of it, forming into two solid cages on the ground. Inside one, an undead bunny and an undead squirrel are running in circles, and in the other, an undead sparrow flutters about pecking at the black 'bars', to no avail.]

I'll take them off your hands. Aren't they adorable? Just let me know, and I'll come get them.

Unless they bite you, then I suppose you won't be calling anyone. [She smirks, and then pauses.]

Hmm, does anyone know where I can get some more...permanent cages?

[ Something isn't right-- no, something hasn't been right, and she should have known. If only she hadn't been so busy with her own tasks. But not long after the outbreak starts and a commotion goes up, she know. She is no stranger to this particular brand of undeath. When Alexstrasza addresses the network, her voice is level, her tone stern, but her face shows an undercurrent of disappointment, failure, and concern. ]

Transports of Exsilium, the creatures you have so graciously taken into your homes as of a few days ago are not what they appear. If they have not already, they will be begin to act strangely and become increasingly more ill, until they pass on and mutate into what many of them have already become: put simply, undead.

It pains me to say there is very little that can be done for them, save to spare them their suffering. Avoid being bitten at all costs, and be cautious of what you eat or drink. If you have already been bitten, then you will be subject to the same fate, if you do not find a holy healer as soon as humanly possible. Even then...

To the priests and holy magic users of Exsilium, I implore you, help your fellows. If you find yourself tired, come see me at the clinic and I will aid you in whatever way I can. I will be doing everything I can to create a shelter there for anyone who seeks refuge or may be in need of healing.

[ She looks like she might say something more, but cuts the feed abruptly. ]

[[ ooc: anyone who comes by the clinic will find at LEAST one very large red dragon hovering overhead. Feel free to hit me up via pm if you want to arrange anything or if I have stepped on any toes. ]]

[ The camera turns on to darkness, then redness, then ... focuses on someone who can be best described as very Dracula-like. If Dracula was small and had pointy ears, that is. ]

Oh, is it on? Very well ... Ahem.

[ The tablet is set down on something and Valvatorez takes a step back so his dramatic cape flourish can be seen better. His previous rather calm expression promptly turns into an angry one. ]

Listen up, you foolish humans! I have saved your world once before and now you expect me to do so again and fight in one of your stupid, pointless wars? The absurdity! I suppose it's to be expected of humanity, but do you not know that the only true way to achieve victory is through your own strength? There's no point to it if you don't fight your own battles. Kidnapping others and making them fight for you ... Do you honestly believe I would abide such a thing? Think again!

I refuse to fight your battles for you. HOWEVER! For the sake of my Netherworld, I will do what must be done and it's clear to me you are in dire need of some re-educating and as such I, Prinny Instructor Valvatorez, cannot turn a blind eye. I shall teach you the very meaning of fear and make you reform the Hades way! That is my promise, as a proud and noble demon.

[ He pauses, taking a moment to nod to himself, apparently satisfied with what he's just said. ]

Before I end this, I shall leave everyone with some very important advice. If you truly wish to become better and stronger, then you must start by eating SARRRDIINEES! [ You're spared an explanation why because the dramatic raising of his arms that accompanies his words knocks the device over and turns it off. ]

What makes you worthwhile? Reluctantly interested parties want to know.

And if you're completely useless as I imagine most of you are then tell me why do you want to go home. It sounds like most of you do so indulge me. It must be absolutely fascinating.

[Luminada sighs, shaking her head a little as she activates the device.] There, there we are. [She clears her throat for a moment, staring at the screen with those eerie eyes of hers.]

...This...device is helpful, if strange. At any rate, I have a request. Does anyone here know of a place ... conducive to engineering? I am able to make explosives and other devices, given the correct tools.

[Her dragonhawk's beak can be seen on-screen for a moment, before she very gently nudges it away.]

Thank you in advance for your assistance - my name is Luminada, by the way. Sirene, that is not food...

Someone's pretty bad at this socializing thing, isn't she?]

( Silence dominates the feed before you're met with Kael'thas' face, his expression a passionate scowl. It is obvious that he'd no intention to make his presence known, but in the interest of avoiding a great many unfortunate encounters that he'd rather not make into surprises, he's going through with it. Also, maybe Jaina will see him!!!

So, have some asshole who doesn't actually look quite as effeminate as his bishounen art would have you believe—scowling with brightly glowing, green eyes. What is that shit? Oh, it's just another elf. Also, he sounds very eerily like Axel and Raiden, but nbd, nbd.
)

I have no use for this network, nor its shrieking inhabitants, and this magical trinket with which I am expected to navigate it is unfriendly and wretched.

Still, I refuse to enter this place one-hundred percent unprepared. My name is Kael'thas Sunstrider, and I have met some of you yet. Tell me what you can of your experiences here, that I may prepare myself for the unanticipated.

And for those to whom it concerns—I take no issue with you, in whatever imagined missteps you may place blame upon me for. I would appreciate a modicum more respect.
