[The voice that comes over the tablets sounds calm and collected, masking the panic and fear of the woman speaking.]

I don't know who she was staying with, nor what unit she had been assigned, but if anybody has seen Emma Swan recently, I'd be glad to know. I can't seem to get in contact with her, and though I didn't know her well...

[She has to stop for a moment. It is so, so hard to force her voice not to crack, saying those words.]

Though I didn't know her well, she doesn't seem the type to purposefully make herself unavailable. I suspect she's returned to our home, but I thought it appropriate to inquire about her regardless. Thank you all.

[And then a pause.]

If someone told you about the future that awaits you back home, would you try to change it though it seems set in stone?

( Remy is seated at one of the taverns in the city, drumming his fingers along the bar counter and regarding the tablet idly. )

Y'know, I mighta been grateful that they'd gotten us all back an' put ta rights by the end a the holidays if there was a better way ta celebrate out here.

( That's about as close as he's getting to mentioning timeline discrepancies on his own, since his general philosophy is "let's not talk about it." )

I haven't been home for Mardi Gras in years, but it still seems a shame ta let it go by without a second thought. Even if there's no music, no parades, and no king cake. But here's ta you, fellow Transports. We survived another month.

( He raises the bottle of beer he's been sipping from, tilts it back and then sets it back on the counter decisively. )

Guess Valentine's a bit more popular, no? An' it's comin' up right around the corner. Hard thing ta celebrate when you're not with the people y'care about, but maybe we can make do with each other. Would be a shame ta waste another holiday. ( That's all said in rolling, easy kind of tone--not upset, just thoughtful. He smirks at the camera, once, before the feed cuts. )

01.
Hello there everyone!

My name is Cedric Diggory. I've never used something like this before, my hometown didn't really have electricity. I'm still learning how 2 type the way you all do. (I'm supposed 2 replace the word with the number like this, right? Someone told me I should do this 2 fit in. It's a little difficult but I'll live with it. I also chose a colour---I wanted yellow but I couldn't quite read it).

Anyway, I have a strange question to ask. Have you seen anything in the city that seems out of place? Something you look at at then it's gone, for example? Or anywhere you try to approach but seems to repel you? Or any rooms that might be bigger inside than they look outside? I'm searching the city for anything out of place, I was just wondering where I should start to look.

Thank you!

((ooc: Don't worry, Cedric's not adopting a permanent typing quirk. This is just what happens when a technology-ignorant kid's early exposure to tech includes meeting a Homestuck.))

Alternate timelines and a mission right off the bat. And apparently it's science and not magic. [ That one she's still querying. She hasn't seen science like this ] I guess I'm glad I hadn't expected a quiet... life. Not with war mentioned. [ Stating the obvious again, Emma ]

So, I guess now that everyone's back to how they were before this? [ Would you even know if you weren't? No. Don't ask that ]

Right. [ She did have an actual question, too ] Does anyone know how to use a sword? [ Just throw it out there, that's how you do it ] I guess if I'm supposed to use it I should learn how to use it.

( Snow White )
Hey. How are you doing? [ Do you remember me, mommy? ]

Looking for one (or more) capable swimmers who think they can also manage to help instruct someone little in how to manage the basics of swimming in the Hold's big indoor pool. Must love kids and dolphins.

Please respond if interested!

( ooc: affiliated log, starting two days down the line )

I think I missed the hat. [ No she's not joking, and yes she knows that sounds... odd ] And when your wardrobe's destroyed you get [ ... ] somewhere else not on the map. [ Not on her map. She's seen the map, and even if it looks vaguely familiar she doesn't remember anywhere known as Exsilium. Granted she's never heard of Storybrooke before or Fairy Tale Land before going there ]

If this hadn't been explained I would think I hadn't gone anywhere, or that this was Cora's doing. [ She may still be thinking that. Explanation or not it's not all sunk in yet, and considering she's here alone - her mother would be a better fit for this than her, not that she wants her stuck there either - it doesn't sound like something she wants to believe ] Which wouldn't be good. [ Just pointing that out ]

So. Just going to go out on a limb here. Has anyone read Snow White? [ Just in case? And why Snow White, other than the obvious ] Or... Pinocchio? [ As much as a friendly face could be nice she's not sure she wants to hear from them ]

Never mind. [ She sounds a little defeated, and she can't blame herself ] It was just a thought. [ A very bad one. On a scale of 1-10? ]

Okay, going with better questions I guess I need to know about this, or at least what's not covered in Exsilium 101. [ Great read, could have done with a joke or two though ] What don't they tell you? [ She needs that fine print ] Or a tip for getting used to it. [ Not settling in, that's not happening. And now she's stopping ] I'd appreciate it.

[Text]
[He's been training through these months, taking a break when he's able to during the festivities, but other than that, he was pretty much scarce in terms of meeting someone new or even just talking to those he's met.

Either ways, his silence was broken by one simple text to the network:]

What is a hero to you? I know it's a broad question, but you don't have to answer if you don't want to.

[It's been days, perhaps weeks since she arrived, and it's taken this long for her to feel comfortable broadcasting even her voice in a public place. Even so, the message is short as she makes an effort to keep distress or dismay out of her voice.]

Since we've all been taken from our homes, there must be many out there who have left behind family, friends, and loved ones. As I've been told, there are people who have been trapped in this place for months.

Does time make the ache of being apart fade? Is there a way to make that pain subside?

Hey. Got a question for all of the tech freaks out there. I know there's plenty of you around.

[It isn't the most formal way to start a message, never mind a request - but even so, there's a briskness to his voice that sounds almost business-like.]

Let's say I want to keep an eye on the names that show up on this thing [a couple of relatively loud taps] along with the new people. Is there a way I can set it up so it... [He hesitates for a fraction of a second, but carries on as if he hadn't.] lets me know somehow when a specific name gets added to it? Or any name, that works too. Just out of interest.

Details would help, but a straight yes or no's better than nothing. I'm not exactly expecting any hand-holding here.
