[Look who's smoking and no one was surprised. However, she's down to her last pack.]

This certainly puts a wrench into my project. I guess I could use the break, though. You can only look at binary numbers for so long before you start to get cross-eyed.

Also, I'm willing to set up a deal with anyone who can... trim my hair. [Only she can cut it.]

[There's another pause.]

And lastly, I'll begin a trade for tobacco products. Any.

[Being on the moon felt like her first day in Exsilium]

[Ibin is calm, thanks to the screaming fit he had in the privacy of his own bunk after AI's announcement and the maybe two more hours of tunnel vision he gets before his next panic attack.]

Well. Um. I'm not entirely sure I understood all of that, but it seems pretty clear that we need to keep our medical response as... capable as possible. Our supplies are good right now, but I intend to go back and retrieve more, before the need is pressing. More of, well, anything and everything I can get, really. Antibiotics, painkillers, sterilizing equipment, bandages, anything. [Why yes, he is somewhat myopically focusing on trauma and first response supplies, seeing as that's what he knows best.] I don't have any particular preference for when, though I was thinking maybe... no earlier than 1980? I think that's about when people started mass-producing suitable antibiotics. Anyone who's been back to a time and place they think would work particularly well, please suggest it.

The other thing that might determine when I go back to is, well... [He shifts awkwardly.] I don't have any past money, I don't know if any of you do. But if you do, and you'd like to contribute it to this cause so that I can buy instead of steal... I would really, really appreciate it. And if you'd like to come along-- if ANYONE would like to come along, whether you have money we can spend or not-- please just say the word!

Mind, anyone who actually has ideas on how to... undo all this... well, you should stay here and keep brainstorming! But I know I haven't a clue, and anyone in the same boat who's willing to come on a side mission like this is more than welcome. Especially, er, people who can get in and out of places quietly. I'd like it if this could just be an uneventful shopping trip, but I have the feeling we won't be able to put together the money to get what we need.

Well, if you can help in any way, thank you!

I know we're all still getting settled in, but with the network going down sometime tonight when they power up the transport equipment, I thought I'd ask now. Anyone want to help get this place up and running? The AI is passing along a list of equipment and systems that needs checking and I thought I'd try and get a work crew organized.

Any takers?

Well, here we are, on the moon. I know that this is a terrible tragedy, but like... this actually feels more like home than the surface did? I'm used to living in a smaller, enclosed space like this. This base is definitely smaller than the Mugunghwa, but it's at least on the same order of magnitude. It's familiar.

Which is... kind of becoming a problem for me. Until now, there was the disappearances and the evacuation to keep me nice and busy, but I think that was actually something I seriously needed.

It's like... I'm the security AI for the Mugunghwa, right? That position comes with certain directives, and among them is being completely dedicated to the survival of my ship and the people on it. I'm not programmed to protect the ship until I can't, and then do whatever I want, I'm programmed to protect the ship. Just because that's totally impossible for me now doesn't mean that the directive changes.

I've heard a saying that, for a captain, losing your ship feels like losing your wife. I guess for me, it's more like losing a husband. A man at least can move on and take a new wife, but...

I guess I'm gonna have to get used to this, one way or another. The feeling of being the Mugunghwa's widow. It's not like I'm going back any time soon.

[Text]

Good evening, fellow Transports.

Near the residence domes, anyone who reads this post unless I forgot someone will see a shimmering section of wall. That's the entrance to a kind of... Well I guess you'd call it a speakeasy I've assembled using a magic item I have.

I'm not really open yet, but I'll let people in so that they can be in an area with actual lights during the outage. Just don't try to sneak into the back rooms or anything.

That said, the real purpose here is more of a Help Wanted situation. I need wait staff, barkeeps, and a cleaner or two. Inquire within, of course - the goal's to create a small place of at least a little happiness for ourselves, so... Well, yeah.

Those I've already talked to, if you could please drop by as well, that'd be nice. There's a few more plans to consider, I think.

[Action]

[And the shimmering gate is, indeed, open.

The room within is rather minimalistic, at least for now. The bar and tables look nice, at least, and there's a goodly amount of seating around. Across from the entrance and coat check (currently unstaffed), there's a bar, a Succubus wearing her usual outfit, and a sign saying "HELP WANTED!"

You could kibitz with Pidonus... Or ignore her and go talk with someone else who's chosen a bright room over a building stuck on just life support.]

[The video flickers on, showing nothing but a darkened room before the camera adjusts to reveal the surroundings of a bottom bunk and a short haired teenager sitting on the edge. She remains silent for a few minutes, not moving and breathing-- a quiet, steady rhythm. Eventually she reaches over and pulls the tablet a little closer so her voice will be heard.]

I want to learn to fight. [Anyone who's encountered her so far should be familiar with her cheerful and upbeat attitude. Her current tone is possibly the farthest from that it could be. Cold, distant and perhaps unemotional. Or it could be well contained anger. It's hard to tell.]

My weapon is a knife I brought from home. I want to know how to use it better. Punches and kicks, too. Anything... Anything to help.

[There's a long pause before she adds in a quieter tone.] Please.

The loss of resurrection opportunities makes this situation much more dire than it appeared at first. Before, I would have suggested this as a time for being as recklessly proactive as possible, but now it seems like the opposite is a better idea.

If anyone is considering heading into the past, I would strongly advise against it unless you're aiming for absolutely critical resources. Until we have a better handle on our next step, every expedition runs the risk of losing us precious teammates who we have no way of getting back.

Of course, I'm not any sort of commander, so this is just advice, not orders.

If anyone is in need of extra rations...I will not need mine. [a pause.] I do not need my bed, either.

Who has stayed behind? [It's hard to know what to say about that. She feels guilty. But it seems that, once again, she has decided by not deciding. Oh, she's been thinking about it, certainly, nearly constantly, but she didn't manage to act. She's always been that way, whether she likes it or not.]

Sonic, Terra? Sango? You are all safe, aren't you?

[ He looks tired and slightly less chipper than usual, but that's basically the theme of the week, so no surprises there. Right to business, then! ]

Adrasteius is gone, which means I'll be taking over the Transport Clinic — which I guess can just be shortened to the Clinic, now. [ sigh. :c ] We've got people organizing supply runs, which is great, but we're always open to have a few more volunteered hands around. No training or previous experience required, promise, just let me know if you're interested.

Anyway, I hope everyone caught AI's announcement, about the revival technology getting left behind. Consider this a friendly reminder to try to avoid dying, alright? If there are any accidents, on missions or otherwise, I have a spell to resurrect the recently dead. Not that that means you should start getting reckless, because my supplies for it are limited. If anyone else has a similar ability, now would be a really, really good time to speak up about it.

[ He pauses here, starts to add a smile, and... rubs his hands over his face instead. He mumbles something that sort of sounds like don't even have a medical wing yet, and ends the feed. ]
