I'm Atomic Robo Tesla, new arrival, and generally not happy about this whole abduction thing. I heard the sales pitch and I'm working out the general information.

At least it's not vampires.

Anyways, I want to get to know who I am working with here. So, who all is out there?

[A robot in camo pants is checking out his room before heading out through the rest of the building.

He's just checking things out, but if he sees you walking around he will stop and say hi.]

I have not been in this time for very long but I've been feeling out of place these past few weeks, not simply because of my surroundings but because of the technology here. I'm curious of the more advanced weaponry that people use now. More importantly, that there are so many who know how to use them with relative ease.

[As a commander, it makes her feel disadvantaged, especially since most of these weapons are so much more powerful than a simple sword and shield.]

If anyone would be willing, I would like to learn how to use these weapons or, better yet, to be able to defend myself from them. Should one of these missions send me to a time after my own, I'd be in quite a bit of trouble. [She smiles.] I can't offer anything in return but my gratitude, though I can teach you swordplay, if you would like. Or, if you would prefer, I know how to make traps and poultices.

[Her smile turns into a full-fledged smirk.]

And for those who are ambitious, I could show you how to steal valuables off of a passerby without them ever noticing they're missing their purse.

[The feed clicks on, and the video shows a rather vexed young woman walking along the sidewalk or what there is of one. Her brows are drawn together, and her blue eyes are narrowed, displaying both suspicion and frustration at her surroundings. Finally, she grumbles and stops walking, looking directly at the screen.]

I don't know what sort of sick change this is, but I'm not laughing. What the hell is the Initiative, and why do I need a weapon now? There damn well better be some decent answers. No one's been very eager to explain much.

[She scowls up at the building behind her.]

New home, huh? We'll see. [Kallen sighs and directs her attention to the feed once more.]

It's doubtful anyone's been happy about arriving here, so it's a pretty safe bet there's no known way back yet, huh? That figures.

[Instead of going straight inside, the redhead simply sits against the wall of the building, still glaring at anything that meets her gaze.]

Just perfect.

[The video flicks on, revealing a light blue visor that was currently taking up most of the screen's display. Something that lasted for about, oh, two seconds before the feed was flicking on and off a couple of times. Almost like the user was making sure he had the right button and was, in fact, broadcasting to... whomever else was able to receive this.]

... [Tap, tap of his finger directly on the screen, before the stranger would finally pull away to a reasonable distance. Revealing both the upper part of his armor, and the city around him.] This working?

Good. [An inhale, bracing himself.] I need information.

Has there been any other soldiers here with armor like mine? Tend to call themselves Helljumpers, Freelancer or Spartans. Last ones are usually big. [Lifting his hand way above his head to emphasis this, before casually letting it fall back down.] Also would appreciate any further advice or information about this place.
