Hello again, Esilium. Long time no talk-- [Chloe's looking under the weather in terms of wear and tear only; her bright eyes actually bright today for a change. For the first time in months, as a matter of fact.] good god does it feel good to be free again. Never thought I'd be saying those words, but there you have it.

And don't worry, no more lectures on this end. No more daily mutineering announcements: I can catch up on what I missed in lock up by scrolling though the network on my own and I've got a more important issue that needs addressing first. [There's a brief pause before she adds, gently as possible:] Obviously anyone that wants to talk shop about what went down is welcome to, of course. Just-- you know. We're on the fast track to recovery around here from what it looks like, so I'm not about to force anything else down anyone's throats as long as that remains the case.

Thanks, by the way, for not unanimously voting for throwing us all out the airlock. [Nice to know not everyone wants them done in or worse.]

Right, though, to the point. I need someone willing and capable of doing tattoo work. Good tattoo work.

In this case I'm even willing to consider the magical sort so long as nothing additional goes along with it. Not really a fan of curses and poisoned apple nonsense.

not sure if I should be thanking you for this or asking why you of all people are signing up to look after someone like me right now

It looks colder in Exsilium than last year. Can anyone make me a hat and something to cover my horns? I know the money doesn't work there anymore, but I have other stuff, too.

[He turned the video down to a small collection. There were a number of different items ranging from books, feathers, bolts and screws, pretty but fake jewels, and more. There may be the occasional item of value but a lot of that value highly varied depending on personal taste.]

If that's not good enough, I can help with something. I'm good at cleaning and I can move heavy things.

[You are treated today, Exsilium, to the sight of an absolutely irate looking woman who is not even close to hiding her hurt and disgust from the camera- and likely wouldn't be able to even if she wanted to.]

All of you who speak of laws in this place, of justice and freedom- you all wear two faces and you lie! You do not know what is fair, you bow your heads and you do the bidding of these slavers who have dragged us here to fight as pawns in a war that is not ours without complaint and you cage those who have the courage to make a stand for your freedom.

[And here comes the crux of the matter, here stands a mother grieving for a loss she believes she has been dealt due to her son's involvement in the mutiny. Timing's a bitch, it seems.]

My son wanted nothing more than to see us all free once more, he cared for your liberty and someone in this damned place has taken him from here, taken him in secret and punished him and now he is gone from here. I do not know who, I do not know how, but I will find them whether they are in this metal prison or the land below. Is this what people call justice?

[Vehemently, she takes the hatchet she claimed for herself months ago, and with all her strength she buries it in a water pipe. She does not seem to care for the upset to the plumbing she has caused.]

His name is Ratonhnhaké:ton. He is called Connor by some. Whoever is responsible will know me and will not suffer their regret for long when I find them.

[She ends the feed, with water still gushing over the blade of her buried hatchet.]

be strong for mother, kano
Brrrr, hunting food down here is rather hard work!!! 。゜(`Д´)゜。
When you're watching someone do it, it seems pretty easy, doesn't it... but when you try it yourself...
It's nice that we got a bunch of crops to harvest, but a guy's got to have some good jerky once in a while (*。_。)
I wasn't prepared at all for coming down here... hey, there's a lot of people in the same boat as I am, am I right??
Since we have so many stupendous warriors amongst our midst, it wouldn't hurt for us to share tips. At the very least, drawing up a map of where we're all staying would be useful if any of us need any help (or food lol) ( ノ^ω^)ノ
It wouldn't be good if any of us freeze to death from our own ineptitude (`・ω・´) Maybe we could even put together a survival guidebook of sorts!
Well, well?? What do you think, everyone?

[He'll manage to answer some replies before all goes silent on his end for a few minutes or so.

...

Still on Kano's tablet and under his name, the entry gets a video tacked onto it. Some green hair can be seen but only for a moment as Kido turns the video on a certain idiot sitting in the snow, putting pressure on his leg. An irritated sigh is heard.]

Tch, I'll give a lesson: Don't let an idiot handle a gun. He's fine by the way. It's just a graze.

[She's still fretting anyway.] We came this far out looking for something like small game or whatever. We were trying to assess the resources of this place outside of getting in good with the villagers and doing mission runs...

Anyway, I guess what Kano says still holds. [Fumbling with the tablet, it points down at the snow.]

Hey, let me look at it... [The gentle voice gets cut off as she shuts off the video.]

In my time here without my partner, I found myself with an incredible amount of free time and mental processing power to fill it. So, after learning the basics of knitting from Rose Lalonde, I then went on to knit a number of useful items for myself and experimental items for the sake of making them.

This means that I have a number of scarves, mittens, sweaters, socks, and other items that are going spare. They may be useful to anyone who wishes to return to the frozen Earth, as I do. So, I'm willing to trade the clothing I have made as well as my time for making custom clothing for a favor from any interested party. I still have quite a lot of yarn after taking down my spiderweb.

I value data over all else, so if you wish to take some of these items off my hands, you can do so by trading me some data. Books, computer data, stories about your life before coming to this world or your adventures after doing so. You can send me your stories privately on the network or tell them to me in person. I am willing to accept other items in trade as well, but I prefer data.

Thank you for your attention.

You think the eggheads in charge would have come up with a plan for some kind of mobile base by now. It'd be a lot easier to keep on the move that way, and hide.

[ He just misses the relative freedom offered by not being cooped up in one place for to long. Speaking of which: ]

Before I go making any snow angels, I could use some outdoor clothes. Just a good coat and pants, since I think I can make up for the rest.

I don't have anything to trade except for my services. I can handle hard labor, your basic mechanics — I'm talking turn-of-the-24th century civilian tech — and I'm a decent shot. If those won't work for you, shoot me an offer and we can talk it out. I'd appreciate it.
