Meliantha
11 March 2013 @ 02:29 am
[The video kicks in.]

So hello. For those who know me, this is Meliantha. For those who know Barney Calhoun, I'm in his body, and we've talked out our situation. If anyone needs me, well, you know how to find us. There's some people I'm hoping to find and talk to when we have all of this sorted out, too.

Also, after listening to people on the network talk, I had some money and picked some things up during the mission while I was scouting the area. Once I have them inventoried and sorted, I'll be putting it up for sale or trade

[Private to Barney]

Barney, two of the bags I got when we were away are in your room. One's for my body, the other's stuff for you. It should be pretty obvious which is which.

[Private to Johnny D'Amico]

Hey, Johnny, are you willing to help me sort through the things I got and work out prices? I'll cut you in for part of it as a consulting partner. When we're done, I mean - I saw you may be having some adaption issues with your body right now.

[Private to Pidonus]

Hi. I got some things, as noted, and... I know nothing about perfume, and I can't tell if any of it is appropriate for me. Once things are back to normal, you seem to know about these kinds of things, and I could use the help figuring out if anything works right for me. Can you help?

luke fon fabre: DUDE IN DISTRESS
11 March 2013 @ 03:49 am
[The feed shows a teenager with red hair. Really red. He's more ginger than a Weasley. He's still trying to figure out the device, apparently. The setting seems to be a kitchen, nothing special.

He sighs, making the bangs fly away from his nose, if only briefly.]

That mission was... something. I want to thank everyone who helped me when I first got here. As it turns out, I've got a couple questions for anyone who wants to answer them.

First, where can I get a journal? Nothing fancy-- I just need a place to write things down. As long as it can handle being shoved in an item bag, it'll be fine.

Also, is everything the Initiative told us true? It's not that I can't believe what's in front of me, but I like to see things for myself. I just got here, so I don't know much. About anything, really.

I think that's it for now. ... Thanks. [He fumbles with the device a bit, brow furrowed, and then it shuts off.]

Keith Goodman 彡 Sky High
11 March 2013 @ 12:17 pm
Greetings citizens of Exsilium! This is Keith Goodman here despite my current appearance. First I want to urge all of you to stay calm during this turbulent time. Rest assure the Initiative is doing their very best to fix the issue at hand!

[He has his hands on hips, looking sternly at the tablet.]

Secondly, I wish for the person with my body proper to reveal themselves to me. Don't be shy! I want to make sure you're as comfortable as possible while using mine. I'm sure we can work something out.

[And with his speech finished, he salutes and cuts off the feed.]

Zelos Wilder

Private Encryption//Not too heavily encrypted but why would you bother? )

[Locked AWAY from Seles Wilder, Sophie, Lloyd Irving and Pidonus]

[The name that appears on the register seems to be "Kaneis". Though for anyone who knows him? He doesn't sound normal. Instead, have a girl's voice that sounds really lazy, blunt and way too casual considering the conversation topic coming through]

Hey, does anyone know what happens to dead people once they get sent away from here? Do they go somewhere else or just back to being dead? I kinda like to know...for my own reasons.

Thanks.

[a beat. Oh wait]

Oh yeah- don't worry! This isn't Ino, she's not dead- well, as far as I know. I'm just in her body until the Initiative sorts stuff out.

Hope I didn't worry anyone! ♥

Aurican as Shinji
11 March 2013 @ 10:50 pm
[ The disgruntled expression on Shinji's face is basically his default expression as long as Aurican is inhabiting his body. ]

I am not sure how humans managed to survive. I always assumed human senses were almost the same as dragon senses until now. Eyesight makes the darkness at night even more forbidding, if that's even possible. I am still learning how to walk, and I am just not going to bother learning how to run.

Possibly the only advantage humans have with dragon senses is the sense of touch. Though I suppose that shouldn't be surprising, considering the lack of scales. The hands make things much easier to hold on to.

Are there any non-humans in human forms? How do you learn to adapt?

Elmer C. Albatross | the Smile Junkie
11 March 2013 @ 11:11 pm
Hello, everyone! This is Elmer. Maybe you know me! Normally, I don't look like this. We're all having the same issue, yeah? I have to say, I've seen a lot of strange things and been in a lot of odd situations in my life, but this is a first. It's actually a little fun, considering this person, whomever he is, is much more taller and athletic than I am. I've beaten my old tree-climbing record by six seconds!

Oh, right, I was hoping the owner of this body, or someone who recognizes him, would step forward. If he's in mine, I have some things he might want to know! And I'm sure it's the same the other way around. Mostly I've been curious about this-- [He ducks his head down a bit so the camera can see the strange glowing halo of a crown around Satero's head.] Oh, and the teeth. I think I've cut my tongue a dozen times accidentally so far! They must take a lot of practice.

I hope everyone else is treating their temporary bodies well. After all, once we get back to our own, you're still going to have to face down the person who was in yours every day! So don't get too embarrassed. Just smile, okay?

Axel; Ⅷ; The Flurry of Dancing Flames
11 March 2013 @ 11:39 pm
[Axel doesn't usually feel the need to hide his face--he's gotten good at concealing his thoughts and making sure he doesn't give himself away... but everyone has a breaking point. Waking up to find Roxas' room as empty as Xion's suddenly was a less than a month ago is apparently his. He has to keep reminding himself that he doesn't have a heart, this can't actually hurt, it's only residual phantom pains, leftovers of memories... So why can't he just make it stop?

[There's a beat of silence, and then his voice sort of tumbles into the recording, like he tripped over his own tongue. His tone is a little strained, as if his throat hurts or he swallowed something terribly bitter.]

How often do people come and go from this place? I've noticed there seems to be a lot of turnover. A good number of people leave, a bunch of new faces show up, but sometimes old faces show up too. Is there any sort of pattern anyone's found?
