The Disciple

001
[It’s a rather worried expression that Disciple is wearing when her face first pops up on the device. Grey skin, curious green eyes and delicately shaped horns easily mark her as a troll to anyone who’s ever met one before, and as an alien to those who haven’t. Worry quickly turns into a smile when she realizes the device is finally broadcasting, but when she opens her mouth to speak nothing happens. She can’t think of what to say.

Signless had always been the one with the gift of words and speaking to audiences.

A moment more, and she’s managed to switch the device’s setting to text instead.]

that’s better!
I hope I’m doing this right!
it's not often than I have access to this kind of technology
I can just s33 one of my friends telling me to set it down carefully and back away now X33
but I can’t really do that, after all, can I?
would someone tell me more about this place, please?
someone who’s been brought here from a different world as well, if possible
I’ve heard the official story but…more information never hurts
I’d be very grateful

and just one more thing
is there any way of finding out if anyone we know is here too?

[She's not overly fond of this thing, but it's got it's uses, and Ygritte is growing all the more bored here. Though there's still places to explore, things to do. She wants to know more about this place though. She's still undecided on the plight. On one hand, a rebel cause is one that burns within her. On the other, no one tells her what to do.]

I can't stay in this place f'much longer like this. I need somethin' to do, t'work with my hands. None o' this Initiative stuff though. I choose m'own sides and who I'm goin' t'follow.

I don't know m'own letters though. Not somethin' you learn above the Wall. But I've skinned any animal, built shelter, fought before-- [She huffs. Without Jon, without her people, she grows bored. And really it's safer for Arthur everyone if she can busy herself.]

Just need somethin' t'do.

Well, that was interesting. I never believed in the whole Moody Monday plan of Murphy's Law, but somehow I get the feeling he was on to something. It seems there was a little glitch. I'm glad I didn't bank on that actually working out.

A question to you fine folks; what is the one thing that you want most during your stay here? I must admit, closure is pretty high up on my list.

[Lee isn't in a pleasant mood to talk in voice and text helps him to ease his mind. The more he can think about something else, the better.]
