[Check it out, more mage spam. For you and you and you. This is to make sure everyone who wants a character at the First Annual Magefest this meeting has an IC reason to bring them. Time is pre-United Earth Boat Trip and pre-Anora's Leadership Hoedown.]

[The message is private, so that replies should default to private; but it's addressed to every person listed in the directory, whether the name is familiar to Anders or not. He thinks some people have joined them since Martin first put the word out.]

Right. I think this thing is on. Is it? Yes. I think.

[Anders clears his throat.]

This is Anders. Some of you know me, some of you don't. I'm sending this message to all of you, because I can't possibly know who's interested and who isn't. If it doesn't concern you, well, tough. No one's making you listen.

If you're a mage, or if you have any special abilities that could be remotely described as magic, anything that isn't reliant on a physical weapon or an external source of power — or if you've got a friend who's a mage, or if you benefit from the work of mages, healers, anything, and you want to support them — then this does concern you.

Martin Septim has already put out the call: we mages should start collaborating. I'm following up on that. I'm giving you a time and a place. [Information follows: the date of the meeting, and the time of evening it's set to start. The location is listed as Unit 205.]

Perhaps it's unwise to send this message across the network the Initiative has built, with the machines they've given us. I see it as simply realistic. The people who brought us here know what we can do. I've said it before: there's no reason to hide what we are. We have everything to gain from banding together.

Perhaps it's unwise to hold a meeting in my own home. I see no point in worrying about it. These people know where we live; they've put us up, they've assigned us. They haven't been able to keep masked hooligans out of our homes, either, and some of us are still carrying microchips in our bodies.

There is no privacy.

There is no safety.

However, I can promise you at least three varieties of pie.
