[One of the disadvantages of not coming from a rich district means no fancy technology, and it takes some serious key smashing before the video function comes up, something this lady with uneven, brown hair is not immediately aware of as she pounds on the keys. Eventually she catches a glimpse of herself on the screen and stops. The words 'piece of Capitol crap' are muttered, and audible if you're paying attention.]

Seeing the escorts here are about as useless as they are back home isn't a big surprise, but knowing that their fashion sense is about as awful is a nice constant. [Johanna gives a big smile at that, one with a threatening, subtle anger behind it.] And hey, they give you actual weapons before starting the blood bath.

So, anyone out there in Exsilium-[She taps a fingernail against the screen twice, her amusement fading into a haughty stare.]-have an explanation for what's going on, or is this a delusion I'm going to have to remember to pass on to a shrink later? The faster you start talking, the less likely it is that I'll start collecting scalps.

[Have one Thalia, looking not too impressed at the cheeseburger on the plate before her.]

You know what this place needs?

[And then pausing, to clarify.]

Okay. It needs a lot of things. But, McHale's. Seriously, what I wouldn't give for a proper cheeseburger from McHale's...

[ Have one annoyed playboy technocrat, neither playing, nor with tech, or even a rat's rear end to give about wherever it is this place is. Normally he's in a much better mood, but he's about finished with having things taken from him. ]

You know, it's really not all that nice to welcome a guy, tell him he can use whatever weapon he wants, and then take the one he came in with away from him. And this thing? This was fun for about four minutes. I don't know if you guys were aware of this precisely or not - they seem like the type to really care about informed consent, anyway - but I was already part of an Initiative back home. And, honestly, sort of making that one look like a party.
