[The feed opens to a view of a white-haired male who is just giving a bemused stare as a young girl's voice could be heard in the background.]

Well, I suppose this situation could be worse, but you'd have thought that someone would've won the conflict.

[A shrug.]

Though, leaving me with a brat who can't tell what they're supposed to do in this place is quite the welcome back present, isn't it?

How dare you speak ill of me when I am right here!

[ There's a small bit of golden hair sticking it's way into the feed as well as a set of fingertips as the girl mentioned earlier tries to take the tablet from him. ]

They will think poorly of me so please cease with your words. I cannot become a magical girl if the populace thinks of me as a fiendish nightmare who throws tantrums like a babe torn from his mother's breast!

[There's just a deadpan look as he wrestled the control back of the device with a sigh.]

Case in point.

[And with another shrug, he's going to just turn off the feed.]

((OOC: Both of them will be responding to you!))

Miles Edgeworth
21 January 2013 @ 05:06 am
[ It's early afternoon when he makes his broadcast. For those who are familiar with Edgeworth's appearance, there's a couple of key visual differences: less baby face and a less gaudy suit (albeit the same amount of cravat). ]

This place remains just as exciting as ever, I see. It appears that I was amongst the fortunate few to retain memories of their previous time here. [ And even he wasn't entirely sure he wanted to believe it until he saw the meticulous notes in his organizer; a relic from some distant second past. ]

For those of you who I've yet to meet, or as it stands, have yet to meet me, my name is Miles Edgeworth and while I may be a prosecuting attorney, here in this city, my work is focused on establishing a functional judicial system in Exsilium. Five years might have passed...but I don't care for leaving jobs unfinished.

Anyway. If you've any questions in regards to the law, or your presence here in this city, leave them here and I will either answer them or direct you to the proper resources.

One last thing. Does anyone know where I might find some paint and a display frame? I've a need for them.

…Perhaps some curtains as well.

*So, Exsilium! Those of you paying attention to this post might notice the username matches One (1) Pidonus Marasia, that generally-annoying possibly-not-human bard girl!

... Who, last you checked, was most certainly not twelve years old. And didn't have a red hair bow.*

This place kinda sucks. I mean, I'm twelve years old, I should either be continuing to learn things or playing!

But there's no bards here that I can find, and there's nothing to do!

... Oh, right. I'm Riana Falconerson. I'm twelve, and when I grow up, I'm gonna be a bard!

I remember this place... though I can't remember if it was real, or just a dream from the Fade. Or perhaps the work of a demon.

[He shakes his head, scowling a little.]

That is a puzzle for another time, I think.

There are people from my own world here, as well. One of them is someone I've been seeking for a long time: Elissa Cousland. If you know of her I suggest you tell me where I can find her as soon as possible.

We have some... unfinished business to take care of. [That doesn't sound ominous at all.]

[OOC: For anyone familiar with the Dragon Age canon, Nathaniel is being taken from just before the beginning of Awakening, en route to Vigil's Keep.

For anyone else, the key factor is that Nathaniel is very, very pissed, and not likely to be as level-headed or rational as some might remember him to be.]

[ The first giveaway that this isn't the person who normally uses this particularly tablet is that it's a video post. The second that she looks not only younger but lighter and more cheerful, if also a little uneasy. The last is how bright her voice is when she talks. If they were running into her in person, the sort of aura of warmth she exudes would be another giveaway, the effect of being an empath who hasn't had a reason yet to learn to shut it down as much as possible. ]

Hi, so, I don't want to take up too much of everyone's time, people seem really busy with this whole - deaging thing? Except some people are going forward in time? Time mixups thing?

Anyways, the whole thing. I know you're all busy with it.

[ cough. yeah, no, this is not the best introduction she's ever made. ]

I'm just - I'm curious, I guess, so if anyone who's talked to the person who was using this tablet before I apparently took her place wouldn't mind telling me what they know about her, I'd really appreciate it. Her - our? Her name's Max Kearney. I could hack through her - my - locks on content, but it would take a while and I like knowing what's up.

And if anyone knows where I could buy some clothes? I didn't have winter clothes with me and wearing hers feels... weird.

[ Really weird. She grins and waves as she signs off, a little bit forced because seriously, confusion is reigning here, but still friendly enough. ]

[ ooc: She'll be wandering around the Hold for a while, so running into her in person is also totally an option. ]

Continuity- kinda just-

[ -scuffles in the background. The video feed clicks on, though for a few seconds there’s not much to see other than a few broken shingles and a small-fingered, bright green glove. The voice is young enough not to crack, and probably – probably – male. ]

Yeesh. Okay, that’s not it. You know, you guys should’ve just said if you were looking to upgrade this stuff. I mean this thing... this thing is just kinda...

[ With a click he figures out where the input is and tilts it away from the rooftop he’s perched on. The face peering down into the feed is masked and frowning. ]

Okay. I think... that does it, right?

So I didn’t think there was gonna be much of a reason for me to use this thing, but since the welcome wagon left out the part about everybody forgetting who they were I thought I could… um. Help. I mean, if anybody’s still confused about stuff. I didn’t get a chance to write down everything before this place went haywire, but I think I still remember all the same things I did yesterday. So that’s something, anyway.

Dr. Kingdom Swann
[A dark haired man appears on the wire, with thick, curly brown hair and a hat perched atop his head. He's a bit muzzy-eyed and fuzzy faced. For those who know Swann, they might see some resemblance to his elder self, down to the Scottish accent.]

Oi, Initiative blokes! I've a message for ya, 'tis of great importance! It's from the Doctor!

[He's not yelling, but it's close. Might want to turn down your volume a bit for this one.]

[ooc: for those following The Doctor and his adventures, check back to these three posts. This one is spawned from the last post.]
