Burn the bodies - all of them. Anything dead, put it to the flame.

If you do not, you will find it risen, ravenous, and much more difficult to put down a second time.

There are bonfires scattered throughout the city. I suggest you use them.

[ not locked at all. bite her, arthas. there's a log to help sylvie burn things over here. ]

[ This post is anonymous, coming from a tablet with no name attached. There's wind in the background. Whoever's talking is up somewhere high. ]

These tablets are nice, but not nearly as advanced as I'd guess for the future. Which makes me think illusion, though you all seem very adamant on it definitely not being an illusion.

Not the point. Though if this is someone fucking with my head, they can consider this their only warning. [ A moment, as if she's either letting that sink in or waiting to see if anything happens as a result. ]

I have a few questions left over from that very thorough welcome speech. How do I buy alcohol on this island? How easy is it to travel outside of this city? And approximately how many more times can I expect to be attacked by mutant bears?

[ maybe half an hour later another post appears! this one is basically a mass of encryptions, point of origin blocked. Anyone who tries to hack through it will find themselves in what feels like a rabbit trail, but with some effort put in it will lead to a two way encrypted channel, with one message already there. Anyone with some knowledge of hacking who puts effort into it can find this message because the code is designed to lead them there. (Very experienced people might notice this.) ]

Thanks for playing.

[ Looking further into where the message comes from will come to Max's attention immediately, and she will certainly try to stop anyone figuring out what tablet it comes from, though depending on skill levels involved she may not be successful. Essentially, she's getting a feel for the other hackers in this place. ]

PETER PARKER, spider-man
31 October 2012 @ 06:02 pm
[ When the camera turns on, Peter for a second does a slight double take; it's not the technology he's familiar with, though it shares a particular similarity minus the Bing obsession thank fuck for that. There's a brief moment where he genuinely does consider shutting it off, simply because he's always been the kind of kid to get his answers on his own, rather than asking in public; keeping to himself is easier, less troublesome, even now, when he has a reputation to live up to and a responsibility to adhere to, but that's not as Peter Parker.

As Peter, he's back to himself, back to before the bite and there's a world of changes he's still trying to prepare for. ]

So, [ cue awkward smile, as peter bites his lower lip; definitely not how he wanted to attract attention so early on ] -- looks like I missed out on all the fun, right?

[ Totally a safe thing to say, because while Peter had been recruited for lack of a better term, there's no way he's going out of his way to reveal his identity, not so easily anyway. ]

I mean, you gotta hand it to this place, gives you everything and then some. [ because he's spent far too much time being the nerd he is, digesting information as provided

but in a serious moment, Peter sobers up -- ]
The people back where you came from, does anyone know what happens to them?
