Chloe Saunders

[The feed clicks on to show Chloe sitting outside somewhere, still within City limits. She smiles as she looks at the camera before tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.] So, I've sort of been thinking. I've seen some people mention wanting to make a guide for new people? I'm... Well, uh, I'm still pretty new here myself, but I think it'd be a nice thing to work on. [Keep it short and sweet, Chloe. Don't ramble on.] But hey, brochures and stuff are kind of boring, and we've got our handy-dandy communicators here plus the network. It shouldn't be too hard to make it an electronic file, maybe even with interview clips or something put together.

Something interactive, is what I'm getting at. [Plus she'd totally like to direct it. Even if it sounds pretty boring and lame in comparison to an actual movie.] If that would interest people, may--

[There's a pause as Chloe looks up and grins at... well, nothing anyone can see.] No, I'm sorry. You can sit here. [Another long pause as she moves over a bit. It's almost like she is having a conversation with someone.] Do you need help? [She sounds concerned before she looks at the netbook and simply closes it.]

Sif.

[ The God of Thunder here is pretty awesome at a lot of things, but technology is not one of them. As such, this conversation that was meant to be addressed only to Sif is broadcast to the entirety of Initiative hold. ]

I mean to forewarn you, I intend to conduct an experiment. I know not the outcome, yet I plan to refuse to fight for our captors. I gave my word to a young girl I would do so.

Should anything untoward come of it, do not worry for me, I will have it handled. If I be forced by magical means, we shall have our answer for how just their cause is.

[ He pauses for a moment, about to cut the feed there before he adds on one last part - ]

Should my brother go to the fight, keep your eye on him, if you would. [ For multiple reasons, all of which he trusts Sif to know ] The Lady Jane and Darcy as well - if they can be kept from it, that would be preferred.

Right. Let's try this again.

A colleague of mine has attempted to help her fellow conscripts by forming some ... working groups, let's call it. Battle parties. People who can rely on one another in combat, if we've trained together long enough, if we find we're compatible and balanced.

This isn't exactly a radical idea. We could just go into battle a completely incoherent mess, as we did in Assyria. Those of you who fought that battle for our captors will remember. War is never pretty, no, but it can be waged with some semblance of planning. You know, because some of us would like to keep on living.

Now, if you're among those who have been conscripted into this Initiative's war from a world they seem especially to enjoy ransacking for soldiers, and you've got a ready-made unit, cheers. We don't need to talk further. Not at this point, anyhow. You might want to have your leader talk to spokespersons from other groups, at some point. Just to be neighborly, yes? So we've got some idea what we're going into, together.

What I'd like to see now is some framework for sorting the lone warriors in. And the lone mages, and the lone rogues, and the specializations I've never even seen up to now. And the pairs who've come from a world the Initiative hasn't quite tapped into, yet, and know they want to stay together, but also know it can't be just the two of them against the enemy hordes.

If that describes you, drop me a line.

[ It's just an experiment, honestly. He wanted to see just how far out the range of the netbooks were, so Takegami 'borrowed' transport and went exploring. Now, a day later, he was among the outside edges of what was probably a thriving city, taking pictures. In fact, what comes on first is this rather quiet area, the only sounds being the trickling waters and the chirping of a couple birds somewhere. ]

Ah, it would seem I am well off the usual path. It looks as if I am some where near an old factory area. Perhaps there might be some interesting places that still hold more of a shape, yes?

I will have to explore more.

[ooc; he will have more pictures later on and yes, this is him, showing off just a little but no blood or guts or anything, just showing off the dead areas he explores. :3 ]
