ATTENTION ALL NETWORK USERS AND HOLD RESIDENTS:

Our analysts have successfully located the source of the temporal disturbance currently affecting many of you and the local civilians. Previous estimations of the impact of your first mission were off-mark and now require mending further along in the timestream. This is not a guaranteed fix, but our numbers show successfully addressing this alteration will directly affect the symptoms currently being displayed. Returning that particular incident to its previous state before first mission's result will cease the harm being caused.

Doing nothing to address this will only result in the severity of symptoms and increase the number of those affected; aside from immediate and direct action, the only other option is to allow those suffering to endure until a potential (and likely) erasure from existence.

All recruits must report to the training hall in four hours for further information on this mission.

Bear with us. We must all make it through this crisis whole before any future problems can be addressed.

if your character is uncooperative, bariyan (or someone else? other concerned adults, c'mere!) will likely go HUNT THEM DOWN and try to take them to a safehouse built in one of the abandoned subway stations underground (courtesy of robin, anders, and nathaniel). bariyan's got magic powers that let him put people to sleep and he's NOT AFRAID TO USE 'EM so watch out for that too.

note that regardless of anything that happens, chances are that your character(s) will get dragged on missions/out to defend exsilium anyway.
