Terra

[Terra just hasn't figured out how to make herself known since she's arrived, so she's kept as low of a profile as much she could. However, she's figured out that a few of her old companions--the friends she betrayed--are here too. Hesitantly, she sends her question out:]

Have any of you ever really messed up with your friends before?

[She can't even bring herself to use voice or video--she's just too ashamed.]

[ There's a short pause as the person on the other line is working to organize their thoughts, where they'd like to begin. She sounds angry when she speaks, resolved in her displeasure. ] Everything about this is familiar, and not in the way that I like. This is obviously not the Capitol -- this isn't Panem. I know that much. Hell, I know even more than that, if the instructions are anything to go by.

This wasn't something I chose. [ Her voice is deeper, then, just for a split second -- she's still angry, but it's subsiding in a way that says she's coming to deal with her fate here quickly. ] I'm guessing it isn't something the rest of you here had any say in, either. [ It sounds like she's lost for words, caught in trying to get the information she needs across but not really having any desire to speak at length. ]

My name is Katniss Everdeen. I was in the Hunger Games. I survived… [ She takes a breath. ]

Where is this?

Tenshi Hinanai
[Backdated a bit before the event. Tenshi (and several other characters) had been gone from the compound for several days. Well, they were back, and after a bit of freshening up (and getting her hat back, that had been important) Tenshi dashed to her communication device, firing it up to make a video entry.

The screen showed a woman that looked to be rather content, even a little smug.

So, you sorry lot have been around this place for a while, haven't you? Figured anything out, or are you still sitting on your behinds like peasants?

To be idle is a short road to death, but that didn't make you do something, eh? Well, unlike you, I haven't been idle. Figured out quite a few things on our situation, too.

Unfortunately, I can't tell any of you much, since there's the vow of secrecy I took. But one thing I can say, it seems what the losers running this place say could really be true! Some of it, that is. They still seem pretty much like losers, though, but I guess our worlds really are in trouble. Well, yours. Not mine, that one is probably okay, not that I care.

[Tenshi wasn't too happy with the secrecy thing - she had wanted to rub actual information into everyone's face, but since she had agreed to not do so, she stuck to that for now.]
