It has occurred to me that there is a lack of any concrete planning for this first mission. Do we have a set chain of command? Is there anyone who is able actually figure out what needs to be done? Are there advisers or other people willing to take a command and turn it into something useful? Or are we all planning to just go in and hack away like a group of children trying mow down weeds?

Sharing plans might be what we need right now on all fronts unless we should stay forever confused.

Of course, there is our mentor. However, it seemed as if he was not sure where to start as well. I does make me wonder exactly how these missions will be like in the future, especially once the enemy notices the meddling we are doing. Oh, and do not always say they will not notice. A massive group of people popping in and out? I am sure they will figure it out, especially since they seem so eager to prove their strength earlier.

Any ideas? Thoughts? Complaints? Come, come, you can't all be blind to this lack.

[Jason is in the hall they've all been training in. His sword is propped up next to him in the shot and he is leaning against the wall, seated and holding the net book in his lap. He looks far more serious than usual which is saying something for him.]

It's time I came out about something, though Leo has discussed it before and others may have already put it together. However, it's important I do this personally because it could effect this mission we are about to embark on as well as potentially help us to complete this mission without having as many casualties.

I know a lot of you have powers and abilities, probably beyond what even I can imagine. But these people, the Initiative, they're sending us on a mission we may not be ready for. I know how Roman legions work, I know how they fight and what they are capable of doing. We're talking about an army that once conquered most of Europe and parts of Asia and even into Africa. That's not something you can fight with a group like this. Our numbers aren't that great and not all of us are trained to fight together, much less individually in some cases. Up until now they've been telling us to train and practice our skills and we've been living together but that's only part of what helps form an army and I just don't think that we've had enough time.

But, that's not going to stop them from sending us and that doesn't mean it's a hopeless fight.

I wanted to run this by the mentor and whoever is in charge first, but after talking with some of you I've decided maybe it's best if I ask my fellow transports first. After all, we have just as much say in what goes on in this mission. They asked for our help after taking us without consent...I feel we have some say in that regard. Besides, if I have some backing on this they might be more likely to go with it.

[He realizes he needs to get to the point so he continues]

My plan doesn't involve large numbers. In fact, it would be best if it didn't use that. Our goal, after all, isn't to defeat the Romans but to defend the village. At least, that's the only way I can see it.

This brings me to my confession and my plan since it requires the first to be said in order to work. I'm a child of Rome. I'm from California, 2011, but Rome didn't fall just because the Empire faded, a group of Romans were given a command by Jupiter himself to continue the legacy. They eventually made their way to the US and set up shop there. The Greek and Roman gods you may have heard of? Where I'm from they are very much a reality. I'm the son of Jupiter, the praetor of the 12th legion.

[]Jason rolls up his sleeve to show the tattoo. 'SPQR' branded on his arm along with an eagle and 12 lines. He rolls his sleeve back down and continues.]

The plan involves using that mark, my title, and my heritage to meet with the Romans of 115 CE. If you have any skill in diplomacy I would request that you speak to me for this mission since your aid would be invaluable. If we can meet with them and convince them to return to Rome or even attack somewhere else I think that should be enough to satisfy the Initiative here. It should not be difficult for me to convince them of who I am, after all the mark is not the only proof I have and there are other half-bloods here besides who can help support my claim.

[Yeah, other demigods, you guys don't get much say in this. He NEEDS you to come with him]

Still, this could be dangerous and I have no idea if it will actually work. If you want no part of it then feel free to set up defenses in the village and plan to fight the Romans. It would be best if we had a fall back plan anyway. But, this is what I plan to do...what I must do. I have been here long enough to feel I can trust some of you...but I can't betray Rome either, this was the best plan of compromise I could come up with, to help our side but also not betray my own people.

[Jason lets out a breath. He feels tired but he knows this is only the beginning. He shuts the feed off and waits]
