Um.

[The video feed kicks on at some ungodly hour during the night and finds Isaac- or, more accurately, the faint outline of Isaac. The world around him is dark, but for what it's worth, he seems to be outside. In the snow.

The first thing you'd probably notice is that he isn't dressed for it at all. Isaac is actually pretty much wearing a t-shirt, fabric pajama pants, and has no shoes or socks to speak of. He's drenched, shivering something awful, and seems to be rather in the middle of nowhere.]

I could use a little help. [His teeth chatter as he speaks. Not fun.] Is anyone awake? I just kind of... woke up here a few minutes ago. So, uh- a jacket or a way home would be nice.

[It's simple, clear, and confused at first. He pauses to look for his coat and other things.]

I'm—I'm on my way. Are you—do you know what happened?

[He's really confused.]

[He's not the only one.]

I dunno. I was just- sleeping, I think? [There's a pause, and Isaac tries to inhale, maybe scent where he was, before shaking his head.] It's hard to backtrack in the snow.

[she was half-awake when she checked this, but at the state Isaac in is, she snaps awake pretty quickly]

Isaac? What happened?

Trust me, if I knew I would tell you.

[He shivers.]

I was just sleeping, I guess. Really cold, and then... I dunno, I woke up here. Well, about thirty feet that way, [he sort of gestures with an arm.] I thought I could find my way back but I literally have no clue where I am right now, and backtracking is impossible in this weather.

[she sets her tablet down for a moment so she can grab her boots, tugging those on and barely tying the laces before she reaches for her coat]

Sleepwalking, then? [she frowns at the screen for a moment, then reaches for her cloak, though that she throws over an arm. If he's shivering like that, he'll need it more than she does] I will come find you.

[peter sounds groggy, which is really only fair considering that a twisting in his gut just woke him from a dead sleep. he's squinting at the light from the screen and scrubbing his face.]

Isaac? Do you know where you are?

Trust me, if I did I'd be going home.

[He huddles a bit tighter.]

Are you still in bed?

Good point. And yeah. I heard you get up but I figured...

[he shrugs. bathroom or something. he's still squinty, but he's getting out of bed now, dropping the tablet and moving in and out of frame as he pulls on clothes. and it's obvious from the jerky haste of his movements that he's more worried than the squint and slur of his voice would indicate.]

Pretty sure I can find you. Didn't happen to put on shoes before you went out, did you?

Are you alright? Do you know if you're near the town?

i cant sense the town closeby just some animals and stuff. im pretty sure i went the opposite way. toward the wilderness or whatever

If no one else is going to be there soon, I can try to find you.

[For once, she's not actually awake at stupid o'clock in the morning but when she checks her tablet after waking up that morning and seeing the post, she doesn't bother to check the replies, hitting call straight away.]

Isaac. Tell me someone came to get you.

Yeah. I managed not to freeze to death.

[He laughs a little dryly.]

I don't think I ever would have heard the end of that.

[There's no mistaking the relieved breath she lets out when she hears his voice.]

I'm glad you're okay.

[It's too early and she's too worried to really do anything with the joke.]

Did you figure out what happened?

Isaac, you okay? What the hell happened to you?

[Frankly, Isaac is surprised that so many people were conscious.]

I'm alive, if that's what you mean. A little cold. [But he manages to smile a little at that, and just sort of shrugs, now wearing a sweatshirt and jeans to keep him arm.]

I was- sleepwalking. I guess.

Yes, alive. [ and, yes, worried. ] I have a portable heater if you need to use it.

[ in retrospect she should have tried to get supplies to build more. ] Is sleepwalking something you normally do?

[She's late to seeing this, and she's sure that by now he's been found that someone else has figured out how to help and she has that feeling of being unsure once more. It's odd how all her freedom from the vault has just locked her up in a different way. Doubt and a considerate amount of fear slip into everything and despite wanting to do better, she knows that she faces a lot more challenges here than she would have back home.]

Healing frostbite is a bitch though. I'd advise against it.
