Video; oo3 [3am]
Um.
[The video feed kicks on at some ungodly hour during the night and finds Isaac- or, more accurately, the faint outline of Isaac. The world around him is dark, but for what it's worth, he seems to be outside. In the snow.
The first thing you'd probably notice is that he isn't dressed for it at all. Isaac is actually pretty much wearing a t-shirt, fabric pajama pants, and has no shoes or socks to speak of. He's drenched, shivering something awful, and seems to be rather in the middle of nowhere.]
I could use a little help. [His teeth chatter as he speaks. Not fun.] Is anyone awake? I just kind of... woke up here a few minutes ago. So, uh- a jacket or a way home would be nice.
[[ooc: Isaac's weapon is sort of in the process of leveling up and as a result, he's sleepwalkin'. Anyone is welcome to find him! c:]]

private voice;
[He laughs a little dryly.]
I don't think I ever would have heard the end of that.
perma that
I'm glad you're okay.
[It's too early and she's too worried to really do anything with the joke.]
Did you figure out what happened?
no subject
Official word is sleepwalking. Which it was.
[There's a pause though, and a rustling of fabric as Isaac situates himself.]
Unofficial word is sort of crazy, but Peter and Tempest are sort of buying into it, so I dunno. There was this weird dream- I mean, it sounds stupid, but how else would I walk a mile out into the middle of a frozen wasteland and not wake up? Maybe mind control. Maybe hypnotism or something.
[There's another sigh, and Isaac curls around the notebook, hesitating like he's at loathe to tell her this but doesn't know what else to do. Peter trusts her, Isaac trusts her. That day in the warehouse proved that. So, when he speaks again his voice is soft, barely audible.]
...maybe I'm losing control. With Scott here, things have been... just, not normal.
no subject
We have telepaths here, they could probably check if anyone was messing around in your head.
[She doesn't think that's likely, but it might reassure Isaac to be able to cross it off the list.
What he says next makes her frown, but not because she's worried about him losing control.]
Isn't it supposed to work the other way? I thought having Scott around helped you.
no subject
Scott- I don't know. [And he curls a little tighter, thinking on it.] It does help me. It makes me stronger, makes us stronger. But he's not... there's something different about him right now. I'm sure it's just a side effect of becoming an alpha so recently, but- I don't know, there's so many factors that I don't know about, and the only person who does know about us is... well, we can't trust him.
[There's a pause, and then-]
He has control, but it's shaky. And if his control is shaky, then mine sort of feels that way too. It's like a chain reaction.
no subject
She can't help but think that she prefers Peter.]
Is there any way you can get away from Scott's influence? Focus on Peter or something? You shouldn't have to lose your contorl just 'cause Scott's here.
no subject
I'm with Scott. He's my alpha. Peter and I are just friends- he's not even in my pack. [The sudden hardness of his voice suggests that this isn't really open to negotiation.]
no subject
Hey.
[It's gentle, not a reprimand, and she's reminded again why she prefers talking face to face, since now is the point she'd put a hand on his arm for some kind of physical comfort.]
I'm not saying you should abandon Scott, but you mentioned anchors, right? Could you use Peter as your anchor? Scott'd still be your alpha, but if you need someone who can be steady....
[That's Peter.]
no subject
Which, he shouldn't have to. It's an incredibly personal thing. But Peter is... Peter's not that kind of thing for him. He can't be.]
Scott isn't my anchor. [His voice is quiet again, lacking all of the earlier tension.] It's... more complicated than that.
I don't even know if the sleepwalking is because of him anyway.
no subject
Okay.
[But she'll let it go, because she's sure that if he wanted to explain, he would.]
Do you have any other ideas? Is there anything else that's changed recently?
no subject
[The change of subject is good though, and it makes him think.]
Not... really? Just the dreams, but I thought that was because of Scott too. I mean, if anything, I actually felt better than I have in the past. Control-wise, I mean. After going up to the moon, everything was all haywire in my head and it feels like it's settled a little recently- even with Scott here and pulling at me.
no subject
D'you mind telling me what the dreams are about?
[God knows that dreams are personal, but if he's willing to talk about it, that might help her think of some explanations.]
no subject
Nothing prophetic or anything like that... I actually had sort of similar ones when I was first bit. But the one last night was, I don't know. I was going through the woods, hunting for something. I was- [A pause here, and the flush is almost audible.] -a wolf. Like Peter turns into.
[Isaac thinks about that for a moment.] I figured it was just me dreaming about his powers for some reason, but... I mean, I woke up a mile away.
no subject
It's the mention of Peter that does it, the mention of his powers.]
What's your weapon, Isaac?
no subject
Same crap as last time. Augmenting werewolf stuff- when I was fighting with you, and I suddenly got better? I'm pretty sure that's it.
[There's a pause, and this question seems sort of out of the blue, but Isaac doesn't really put two and two together yet. He's actually sort of sulking.]
You know, some people got guns and stuff. That would have been cool.
no subject
[Because she weaponized herself.
Not that it ever helped her sneak up on Steph, but details.]
What do you know about Peter's weapon?
[She's going somewhere with this, but she doesn't want to say too much about Peter's weapon if Isaac doesn't know already.]
no subject
[Isaac has to think for a moment on that.]
It's his sixth sense or whatever, isn't it? [Isaac isn't quite sure how much he can really reference Peter's balls while he's talking to Steph.] The psychic impression thing.
no subject
You know how he had a calming effect on you and Scott? It should only work on you guys 'cause you're werewolves, but since he weaponized it, it works on me, too.
[And other people, but she's sure Isaac will get that.]
He didn't even realize until I pointed it out, so I'm just thinking-- you know, maybe it's another side effect of weaponizing the whole werewolf thing.
no subject
Wait, are we still talking about Peter?
[He purses his lips for a moment, before shaking his head.]
When I was first turned, I had dreams kind of like that- I was told it was normal. But the sleepwalking is new. I don't see how my powers would be trying to kill me with frostbite.
no subject
[At least that last little bit, since technically she wouldn't call Peter's weapon his lycanthropy.]
They're probably not trying to kill you, it's just an unintended side effect. Our weapons respond to what we want, consciously or not.
no subject
[This is just frustrating.]
no subject
[Running away, or just running.]
no subject
[But he doesn't seem entirely convinced.]
Thanks, though. For the encouragement.
no subject
[She doesn't feel like she helped much.]
If it's worrying you, you could change your weapon?
