Um.

[The video feed kicks on at some ungodly hour during the night and finds Isaac- or, more accurately, the faint outline of Isaac. The world around him is dark, but for what it's worth, he seems to be outside. In the snow.

The first thing you'd probably notice is that he isn't dressed for it at all. Isaac is actually pretty much wearing a t-shirt, fabric pajama pants, and has no shoes or socks to speak of. He's drenched, shivering something awful, and seems to be rather in the middle of nowhere.]

I could use a little help. [His teeth chatter as he speaks. Not fun.] Is anyone awake? I just kind of... woke up here a few minutes ago. So, uh- a jacket or a way home would be nice.

[[ooc: Isaac's weapon is sort of in the process of leveling up and as a result, he's sleepwalkin'. Anyone is welcome to find him! c:]]

...right. I'll ask around a bit.

[It's possible that someone has had it happen and not said anything. Either way, Isaac has a few connections that might help out and get them the information they need. And while he's at loathe to let anyone else into his head, if there's someone with the power to pull out any idea as to why he left, why he went so far, why he didn't wake up...]

That's- that's pretty far. Damn. [He sort of glances back toward the area that Scott arrived from as he shoves the extra pants and shoes on, grateful for the warm clothing.] I can't believe I didn't wake up.

I can't believe it because he's so cold. Like, dude. [It's not the most eloquent thing in the world, but it feels right. Even with a coat on when he first arrived, he wasn't prepared for it. Being a werewolf adds some resistance through healing, but it doesn't make it any better. The process of that could have startled Isaac awake, couldn't it have? He studies him curiously.]

Maybe I'll keep watch tomorrow night. Me and Peter. ... Your Peter. [The clarification is important, and "your" seems to be the best way to put it.]

[Your Peter. Right. Isaac knows that the term was innocent, but he finds himself pausing at the implications of that, glancing back toward Scott before offering him a wry smile.]

I don't think I'd be able to get to sleep if you guys were watching me. Just- I dunno, put a bell on the door or something?

What if you didn't go out the door?

[It feels like a valid question. They are werewolves who go through windows all the time.

Because who uses doors the right way?]

...tie a bell to my wrist?

[He lifts an eyebrow.]

There's no way I'm sleeping with you two hovering.

Hey, my mom managed it. Does that mean my mom is just better at something than you?

[They should really be moving, but this thought is easy, teasing. Plus, he misses his mom. It hasn't been long, but that's like the top of Scott's priorities: getting back home to his mom.]

I'm pretty sure your mom is better than me with a lot of things.

[Isaac wrinkles his nose, before shrugging.]

Besides, she was already asleep.

[Scott's shoulder rises in a half, comfortable shrug.]

So we just wait until you're asleep.

...it's creepy when you tell me about it in advance.

[Just so you know.]

We do a lot of creepy things.

[It's a fact, they just tend not to talk about it.

Ever.]

[He lifts an eyebrow.]

...let's talk about this when we get home.

Yeah, all right.

[He has a feeling they won't end up talking about all the weird things they do.]

[Either way, if Scott doesn't push it, Isaac is going to be quiet most of the way back. Conserving body heat and being vaguely awkward and all that.]
