Video; oo3 [3am]
Um.
[The video feed kicks on at some ungodly hour during the night and finds Isaac- or, more accurately, the faint outline of Isaac. The world around him is dark, but for what it's worth, he seems to be outside. In the snow.
The first thing you'd probably notice is that he isn't dressed for it at all. Isaac is actually pretty much wearing a t-shirt, fabric pajama pants, and has no shoes or socks to speak of. He's drenched, shivering something awful, and seems to be rather in the middle of nowhere.]
I could use a little help. [His teeth chatter as he speaks. Not fun.] Is anyone awake? I just kind of... woke up here a few minutes ago. So, uh- a jacket or a way home would be nice.
[[ooc: Isaac's weapon is sort of in the process of leveling up and as a result, he's sleepwalkin'. Anyone is welcome to find him! c:]]

video.
[He's really confused.]
video.
I dunno. I was just- sleeping, I think? [There's a pause, and Isaac tries to inhale, maybe scent where he was, before shaking his head.] It's hard to backtrack in the snow.
video.
I think I can find you easily, but if you howl—it'll be easier. [A beat.] Because we're connected.
[Which is still new, but talking to Peter (albeit in a really terrible frame of mind) helped put things into perspective.
And now Isaac is in ... trouble, and Scott has no idea what's going on, but he knows one thing: this is his responsibility.
In the background, he's gathering what he can into a bag, ready to go running.]
video.
[He sort of deadpans. He doesn't quite feel ridiculous enough, thanks.]
I guess it beats getting frostbite. Let me know when.
video.
Like really doubts it.
But it's the quickest thing that comes to mind to make sure Isaac doesn't shrilly yowl into the night like he did once.]
And—just a minute.
[And he's heading outside.]
Now.
video.
[He sort of stares skeptically at the screen at Scott's words (what the hell kind of peptalk is that?) before sighing and moving to stand up. Right, okay, he can do this. Calling the alpha, signaling his location to the rest of the pack. Nothing to it, right?
First though, he shuts off the video so that he doesn't transmit a signal of the howl. Don't want anyone getting confused or anything. With that taken care of, he takes a deep breath, trying to bring forth the werewolf and let it take over. His eyes glow gold, claws sprouting from his fingertips, and suddenly, he feels a lot warmer. Be a werewolf, right. After a moment of preparing himself, Isaac tips his head back and he lets loose a loud, booming howl.
It's not the most convincing sound, but it's wolfish enough, and the noise vibrates through the air, echoing across the snow. He's a little under a mile away from where they all live together, out in the trees where there's almost no buildings that can be used as landmarks.
After a moment, he flips the video feed on again.]
Did you hear that?
video to action.
There's nothing else after that. The video cuts short, and Scott lets the rest of the transformation happen, eyebrows protruding and nails extending, red eyes obvious. He holds on to the bag of warm clothing tightly before he starts running, the mix of his coat and his transformation keeping him warm as he jets off in Isaac's direction. As he grows closer, he can smell him—even sense him—and Scott has mental clarity that he didn't have with the full moon. Mental clarity and an idea of how powerful he is, that is.
He makes short work of that mile, sliding in near Isaac and counting to ten, breathing heavily as he tries to keep himself in check. He tosses the bag toward him while he does that, low growls escaping through his throat.
He's working on it. He is.
He swallows as the transformation depletes and finally looks at Isaac, Scott looking a bit more like—well, Scott.]
I guess this isn't normal here. [Sleepwalking into the middle of nowhere, that is.]
action
He's able to overcome it after a moment or so, pushing it back down and tucking the sharper parts of him under his skin. And Isaac doesn't know if it's because Scott is letting him, or even if the other alpha has any control over pulling him to shift at all. For all he knows, the sudden urge to transform on the heels of his alpha is something coming from Isaac, something he has to tamp down on his own, much like staying in control over the full moon.
Isaac is normal by the time Scott finds him, taking a step back as the bag is tossed toward the ground before moving toward it, opening it up with a thankful murmur.
Before he even responds, Isaac is pulling on the coat, zipping it up over his thin sleep shirt and letting out a warm breath of relief.]
It's the first time it's happened to me here, if that's what you mean. [He swallows hard, reaching for the rest of the clothing.] How far away are we?
action
Right? He hopes so. Apparently "weird" is normal here, so they don't have to hide too much.]
But we're about a mile away. Give or take. [That's a guess, but Scott's done a lot of running in the past year. He's starting to have a more solid grasp on that.]
action
[It's possible that someone has had it happen and not said anything. Either way, Isaac has a few connections that might help out and get them the information they need. And while he's at loathe to let anyone else into his head, if there's someone with the power to pull out any idea as to why he left, why he went so far, why he didn't wake up...]
That's- that's pretty far. Damn. [He sort of glances back toward the area that Scott arrived from as he shoves the extra pants and shoes on, grateful for the warm clothing.] I can't believe I didn't wake up.
action
Maybe I'll keep watch tomorrow night. Me and Peter. ... Your Peter. [The clarification is important, and "your" seems to be the best way to put it.]
action
I don't think I'd be able to get to sleep if you guys were watching me. Just- I dunno, put a bell on the door or something?
action
[It feels like a valid question. They are werewolves who go through windows all the time.
Because who uses doors the right way?]
action
[He lifts an eyebrow.]
There's no way I'm sleeping with you two hovering.
action
[They should really be moving, but this thought is easy, teasing. Plus, he misses his mom. It hasn't been long, but that's like the top of Scott's priorities: getting back home to his mom.]
action
[Isaac wrinkles his nose, before shrugging.]
Besides, she was already asleep.
action
So we just wait until you're asleep.
action
[Just so you know.]
action
[It's a fact, they just tend not to talk about it.
Ever.]
action
...let's talk about this when we get home.
action
[He has a feeling they won't end up talking about all the weird things they do.]
