Video; oo3 [3am]

Um.

[The video feed kicks on at some ungodly hour during the night and finds Isaac- or, more accurately, the faint outline of Isaac. The world around him is dark, but for what it's worth, he seems to be outside. In the snow.

The first thing you'd probably notice is that he isn't dressed for it at all. Isaac is actually pretty much wearing a t-shirt, fabric pajama pants, and has no shoes or socks to speak of. He's drenched, shivering something awful, and seems to be rather in the middle of nowhere.]

I could use a little help. [His teeth chatter as he speaks. Not fun.] Is anyone awake? I just kind of... woke up here a few minutes ago. So, uh- a jacket or a way home would be nice.

[[ooc: Isaac's weapon is sort of in the process of leveling up and as a result, he's sleepwalkin'. Anyone is welcome to find him! c:]]

[she was half-awake when she checked this, but at the state Isaac in is, she snaps awake pretty quickly]

Isaac? What happened?

Trust me, if I knew I would tell you.

[He shivers.]

I was just sleeping, I guess. Really cold, and then... I dunno, I woke up here. Well, about thirty feet that way, [he sort of gestures with an arm.] I thought I could find my way back but I literally have no clue where I am right now, and backtracking is impossible in this weather.

[she sets her tablet down for a moment so she can grab her boots, tugging those on and barely tying the laces before she reaches for her coat]

Sleepwalking, then? [she frowns at the screen for a moment, then reaches for her cloak, though that she throws over an arm. If he's shivering like that, he'll need it more than she does] I will come find you.

Maybe? I was... I was dreaming-

[He takes in a deep, shaky breath before nodding.]

Can you use your magic to find me?

[she grabs a few more things - gloves, scarf, whatever else - before she leaves and heads out]

Dreaming of what?

[any other time she would be smug, but not when a friend is going to freeze if she doesn't get out there quickly] I do not need magic to find you.

I dunno. It's stupid.

[He looks a little confused at that but nods.]

Then how- ?

Even if it is stupid, it has meaning behind it.

[and out into the snow she goes. She makes a face and starts walking faster, shoulders hunched a little. Though, she does want to keep him talking - it's freezing, and the last thing she wants is the cold getting to him more than it has]

Well - I am part-elf, dear - what do you think I am going to do?

I'm a werewolf. If anyone can track me, it'd be me. [There's really no point in arguing with her, but he does it anyway. It passes the time.]

Anyway, my dream... I don't know. I was running through the woods. [A pause.] Not running- hunting. And I was- god, this sounds so dumb.

[Isaac laughs hollowly, shaking his head.]

I was a wolf. Not like... not how I get, but like Peter.

Scents and footprints are not the only way to track someone, Isaac. [she smiles, briefly, before glancing up again to look at where she's going] I've spent most of my free time getting to know this land - and the nature, here. I am going to ask where you are.

[yep, that came out sounding crazy. But she doesn't really care]

Your dream does not sound very dumb - it sounds interesting, actually. Was that all you were doing? Running?

[...right. Well, can't knock it 'till you've tried it. Maybe.]

Hunting, but yeah. I don't know for what.

Has something been on your mind, lately? I do not know much of dreams, but I know that if one is running in one's dream, they are trying to avoid something.

[He shakes his head slowly.]

No, it was... looking for something. [It's just a dream though, and fading from his memory. Isaac closes his eyes and takes a deep breath, puffing his exhalation out in the cold air.]

-I don't know. It wasn't me, I wasn't making the decisions. I was just there.

[she frowns] How strange . . . ah - hold on a moment.

[Isaac gets a few of the ground for a few moments, but he'll be able to hear her - it almost sounds like Elven, the way it flows, but there's something different about it. There's a long pause, and then she's moving, much quicker now]

Do you remember anything else about your dream?

It wasn't that detailed.

[He tilts his head up at the sound, brows furrowed.]

A wolf hunting, I was in the body but wasn't in control, woke up before I could find anything. [He shrugs.] I wonder if it has anything to do with Scott showing back up.

It may . . . but I honestly haven't a clue. Maybe someone here knows more about dreams than I do?

But I am going to turn this off for a moment - I know where you are, now, so I'm going to run so you don't freeze, alright?

Sure. I'll see you soon- I hope.

You will.

[she shuts off the feed and sticks the tablet in her jacket, then starts running - and she certainly hopes that she wasn't lied to, which . . . well, even nature likes to think it's funny sometimes.

But she's in luck; ten minutes later she can spot him up ahead, and she slows a bit so she can catch her breath - he'll hear her before she speaks up, and when she's finally close enough she immediately holds out her cloak]

I hope I did not keep you waiting long.

[Isaac tilts his head up at Tempests words, his lips a pale sort of blue in the evening light. He shakes his head then, reaching a hand out for her to try and steady himself.]

You made it.

[she moves in close when he tries to steady himself, letting him take her hand. She immediately curls her other hand over it, hoping to warm it up for a moment]

I could not leave you out here for much longer.

[she only lets go of his hand, briefly, to unfold her cloak and put it around his shoulders; it may be a little short for him, but it's warm]

Nice of you.

[Isaac doesn't even try to be gracious about the cloak, he just wraps himself up in it as tightly as he possibly can, shivering like a leaf.]

How far back is it?

It is not too far back, but . . .

[she glances down at his feet with a frown; even if she had another pair of boots, they wouldn't fit him, and she has no idea how long he actually has been out here. She lets go of his hands and reaches up to rub at his shoulders, helping to warm him up more]

[Isaac just sort of smiles wryly.]

...let's hope that regeneration works on frostbite, yeah?

[she huffs weakly and loops an arm through one of his, tugging gently to get him moving]

Let us get somewhere warm, then, and quickly.

Where's the closest place?

[He starts then- and it's really not so bad. He's mostly entirely numb anyway, too numb to feel any pain with each footstep.]

[she opens her mouth to answer then pauses, glancing up at him]

Mine would be, I think, but it is underground. Will you be alright?
