I didn't think it was rude to ask people's ages. On Earth, there's usually a limit to who can enlist in the army--I was just curious if the technology bringing us here was using any similar guidelines when grabbing people.

As to why you'd bother, we are in the middle of a war. Knowing how to fight would probably be a good idea. But that's your choice.

Their planners need better training; assuming a group can find proper supplies on a moment's notice is not really an acceptable method of dispatching a small irregular group. Also, it seems to me that they're not really good at preparation at all - some of these missions seem haphazard and very much done on the fly, which is a recipe for disaster... as we've seen recently.

What is your opinion on the Initiative and their missions? I don't know. I don't like seeing humans hurt each other. I do think the UE needs to be stopped, but I'm not supposed to get involved with human affairs. On the other hand, they UE is a probably a threat to more than just humans...
