Hello, fellow Transports! I know we're in a bit of a pinch right now what with this super-virus mutating and infecting some of the population, but if you have a minute I've got some questions I'd appreciate some answers to. Some of them may help either now, if we're going to be trying to treat this virus at all, or in the future should anything like this happen again.

What's your name?
Age?
Place of origin? Planet, country, and city of origin would be the most helpful.
Species? If you're anything other than a baseline human, does your biology differ in any notable ways?
What occupation did you have in your world of origin? "Student" and "unemployed" are perfectly valid answers.
Do you have any prior experience with war?
Time travel?
Alternate universes?
Technology at the level the Initiative is operating with?
Do you have any background in medicine?
What about the STEM fields? For anyone who doesn't know, that would be Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
What kind of weapon did you choose upon entrance to Exsilium? If it has a special function, feel free to include that at your discretion.
Have you made use of the Initiative's training areas outside of mandatory training hours?
If you answered no to the above, why not?
What is your opinion on the Initiative and their missions?

Feel free to skip any questions you feel are too intrusive, or encrypt things if you would like to answer but would rather not answer to the whole network. Similarly, if you would like to answer but don't trust the Initiative's technology, I can currently be found in the library (the one not in the Hold) and would love to either talk face to face or take answers written elsewhere. Look for the blonde in the Metropolis University sweatshirt. Any and all private communication will be kept completely confidential and is only to satisfy my own curiosity. Thank you in advance for any answers!

And, out of the interest of fairness, I'll give you my own answers to this little survey.

What's your name? Kara Zor-El.
Age? Functionally somewhere around 19/20.
Place of origin? Earth, United States of America, Metropolis. Originally from the planet Krypton.
Species? Kryptonian. We look fairly human on the outside, but our internal organs are vastly different from those of the Homo sapiens sapiens. Radiation from a yellow sun also affects our bodies in ways baseline humans don't experience.
What occupation did you have in your world of origin? Full-time superhero. I've also sold some technology to a business with a large R&D department.
Do you have any prior experience with war? Yes.
Time travel? Yes.
Alternate universes? Sadly, yes.
Technology at the level the Initiative is operating with? Possibly, yes. I haven't had time to analyze all of it.
Do you have any background in medicine? Nothing more than basic first aid, but I'm interested in learning more.
What about the STEM fields? Yes. I was part of the Science Guild back on New Krypton. These days I mostly focus on mechanical and electronic engineering, with astro- and temporal physics being a hobby.
What kind of weapon did you choose upon entrance to Exsilium? A small sphere the functions of which are unknown.
Have you made use of the Initiative's training areas outside of mandatory training hours? I have plans to.
If you answered no to the above, why not? N/A
What is your opinion on the Initiative and their missions? I haven't been here long enough to form a complete opinion, but so far I think they're in over their heads a bit. Messing with time is always difficult and usually inadvisable.

What's your name? Princess Eilonwy, daughter of Angharad, daughter of Regat, daughter of— it's really quite a bother to go through the whole thing like that.
Age? It's terribly rude to ask this.
Place of origin? Spiral Castle, I suppose. But I didn't like it very much.
Species? Well, I'm not a dwarf, if that's what you mean.
What occupation did you have in your world of origin? Princess. Though if you ask me I'd much rather do something useful.
Do you have any prior experience with war? Yes.
Time travel? [ these are left blank as she scowls at them ]
Alternate universes?
Technology at the level the Initiative is operating with?
Do you have any background in medicine? I've learned a bit about healing.
What about the STEM fields? I was taught how to curtsy. There are a surprising amount of lessons for that, even though it isn't very hard!
What kind of weapon did you choose upon entrance to Exsilium? It's my bauble. It's quite difficult for others to use it properly.
Have you made use of the Initiative's training areas outside of mandatory training hours? I don't know why I'd bother.
If you answered no to the above, why not? I can decide to do things for myself, you know.
What is your opinion on the Initiative and their missions? I think it's terrible they are suffering, but I don't understand why they've got to bring us into it. It's like trying to mend a broken leg by breaking the other one!

What do you plan on using all this information for, exactly?

please excuse my replies. in hospital.

What's your name? Meliantha
Age? 33 years, which appear to be the same here as where I come from
Place of origin? Abeir-Toril, Faerun, Berdusk (an independent city-state)
Species? The term used in my world is 'tiefling', a term for someone who is mostly human but with some demonic blood in their background. In my case, it manifests strongly, making me physically exceptional in strength, agility, and endurance, at a cost of strange appearance and (I have learned here) an internal malformation of certain organs which I am not entirely comfortable going into detail about in public.
What occupation did you have in your world of origin? Adventurer, mercenary.
Do you have any prior experience with war? yes
Time travel? no
Alternate universes? no
Technology at the level the Initiative is operating with? no
Do you have any background in medicine? no
What about the STEM fields? Where I'm from, we have magic, although mathematics is fairly advanced.
What kind of weapon did you choose upon entrance to Exsilium? the enchanted blade I came here with was enhanced.
Have you made use of the Initiative's training areas outside of mandatory training hours? yes
If you answered no to the above, why not? see above
What is your opinion on the Initiative and their missions? Their planners need better training; assuming a group can find proper supplies on a moment's notice is not really an acceptable method of dispatching a small irregular group. Also, it seems to me that they're not really good at preparation at all - some of these missions seem haphazard and very much done on the fly, which is a recipe for disaster... as we've seen recently.

Yes, I've spoken to a couple already.

I'm not sure where to start in all this myself.

It was this island called Siren's Port and nobody could leave unless they got sent back kind of like here

Well I guess eventually some people left on their own but I just disappeared and went back home before all that

Perhaps it would be best to talk directly to those responsible for bringing us here.

Then I'll go with you.

Something needs to be done about this level of chaos. Transports need to be organized into a proficient army -- the ones who are willing to fight in this war. [ And the ones who aren't need to be convinced somehow. ]

The doctors here told me about the organ differences. I didn't know about them before. They are aware of my differences. Other than the specific organ issues, they say that 'my biology is close enough to human for things to work the same way'. I've never been sick before except for once, that that one required magic to make me sick.

I think both. But their planners need to understand that some of the people they have brought in, and some of the missions they have sent us on, need better preparation and logistics. They sent us into a desert area at one point with minimal preparation time or briefing. We had no supplies with us, and the only civilization was a small town whose population was considerably swelled by us. Thankfully, a number of us were able to work out water and shelter, but food was iffy. (I wonder if the local snake population will recover soon.)

The mission where we were sent to steal art, as well. While the impact was not considerably larger - the area was densely populated - we had no local currency. I was lucky in that I had some gold with me, that I was able to sell (probably at a ruinous exchange rate) for it, and able to get supplies (clothing, certain items asked for on the network, and food) but I do not know how many people were hungry during the mission.

Now that I've been thinking about this, perhaps I should try to interact with the people who are running the group that is working with the Initiative and start to set up some kind of logistics and supply depot for these missions.
