Hello, fellow Transports! I know we're in a bit of a pinch right now what with this super-virus mutating and infecting some of the population, but if you have a minute I've got some questions I'd appreciate some answers to. Some of them may help either now, if we're going to be trying to treat this virus at all, or in the future should anything like this happen again.

Species? If you're anything other than a baseline human, does your biology differ in any notable ways?
What occupation did you have in your world of origin? "Student" and "unemployed" are perfectly valid answers.

Feel free to skip any questions you feel are too intrusive, or encrypt things if you would like to answer but would rather not answer to the whole network. Similarly, if you would like to answer but don't trust the Initiative's technology, I can currently be found in the library (the one not in the Hold) and would love to either talk face to face or take answers written elsewhere. What's your name? Kara Zor-El.
Age? Functionally somewhere around 19/20.
Place of origin? Earth, United States of America, Metropolis. Originally from the planet Krypton.
Species? Kryptonian. We look fairly human on the outside, but our internal organs are vastly different from those of the Homo sapiens sapiens. Radiation from a yellow sun also affects our bodies in ways baseline humans don't experience.
What occupation did you have in your world of origin? Full-time superhero. I've also sold some technology to a business with a large R&D department.
Do you have any prior experience with war? Yes.
Time travel? Yes.
Alternate universes? Sadly, yes.
Technology at the level the Initiative is operating with? Possibly, yes. I haven't had time to analyze all of it.
Do you have any background in medicine? Nothing more than basic first aid, but I'm interested in learning more.
What about the STEM fields? Yes. I was part of the Science Guild back on New Krypton. These days I mostly focus on mechanical and electronic engineering, with astro- and temporal physics being a hobby.
What kind of weapon did you choose upon entrance to Exsilium? A small sphere the functions of which are unknown.

What is your opinion on the Initiative and their missions? I haven't been here long enough to form a complete opinion, but so far I think they're in over their heads a bit. Messing with time is always difficult and usually inadvisable.

Species? We have NEXT which is a mutation that doesn't appear to exist in other worlds. I hope that's a correct answer.

What is your opinion on the Initiative and their missions? I admire their cause and I support them all the way. But I have to object to their ways of selecting transports. Children in particular don't belong to dragged into this war, and I feel like they should try to be more precise in their selections.

Significant genetic mutation would be different from a baseline human, so that is helpful information.

What sort of projection screens did you have? Like movie screens or like holograms? Something else entirely, maybe?

What age would you say constitutes becoming an adult in terms of when someone should be able to be involved in something like this? This one isn't exactly a research question, but I'm curious about the answer.

Would you like to hear more about it?

Holograms, yes! And what functions you can do on the tablet can be accomplished with something as small as a wristband. It's very neat and compact.

Eighteen, it is when you're considered to be an adult here, I mean my world, and when you can serve in a war. But it might be flexible depending upon the person. But I really wouldn't like seeing somebody much younger than that drafted here.

It certainly sounds like something useful.

Interesting. That's [ oh, how to put this... ] not much like my world. I mean, for civilians, the age to enlist is the same, at least in the USA. But I've been doing the hero thing since I was about fifteen.

Alright, I'll tell you what I know. There's a genetic mutation that manifests in some individuals from my world. They call them NEXT and develop powers, usually during their youth. It can super strength, stretching parts of your body, it's all different unique powers and we're still documenting new ones. But other than the powers, NEXT aren't that different contrary to what normal people might think.

It isn't unusual for people that young to go into the hero business over her actually too. But our job is heroes, is different than a grim war like this, don't you think?

Your NEXT sound a lot like my world's metahumans.

Not at all. It's because I'm a hero that I first saw war. And in a world like this where you can resurrect the dead and set right your wrongs with time travel--well. It's much nicer than back home.

... Are things troubling in your world? Ours is relatively peaceful, we haven' had a war in a long time.

As far as I know, metahumans have a genetic mutation either naturally caused or induced that gives them a variety of special abilities. Superpowers, if you will.

The world almost ends just about every Thursday back home. You can pretty much make a calendar around it.
