Hello, fellow Transports! I know we're in a bit of a pinch right now what with this super-virus mutating and infecting some of the population, but if you have a minute I've got some questions I'd appreciate some answers to. Some of them may help either now, if we're going to be trying to treat this virus at all, or in the future should anything like this happen again.

Place of origin? Planet, country, and city of origin would be the most helpful.
Species? If you're anything other than a baseline human, does your biology differ in any notable ways?
What occupation did you have in your world of origin? "Student" and "unemployed" are perfectly valid answers.
Do you have any prior experience with war?
Time travel?
Alternate universes?
Technology at the level the Initiative is operating with?
Do you have any background in medicine?
What about the STEM fields? For anyone who doesn't know, that would be Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
What kind of weapon did you choose upon entrance to Exsilium? If it has a special function, feel free to include that at your discretion.
Have you made use of the Initiative's training areas outside of mandatory training hours?

Feel free to skip any questions you feel are too intrusive, or encrypt things if you would like to answer but would rather not answer to the whole network. Similarly, if you would like to answer but don't trust the Initiative's technology, I can currently be found in the library (the one not in the Hold) and would love to either talk face to face or take answers written elsewhere. What's your name? Kara Zor-El.
Age? Functionally somewhere around 19/20.
Place of origin? Earth, United States of America, Metropolis. Originally from the planet Krypton.
Species? Kryptonian. We look fairly human on the outside, but our internal organs are vastly different from those of the Homo sapiens sapiens. Radiation from a yellow sun also affects our bodies in ways baseline humans don't experience.
What occupation did you have in your world of origin? Full-time superhero. I've also sold some technology to a business with a large R&D department.
Do you have any prior experience with war? Yes.
Time travel? Yes.
Alternate universes? Sadly, yes.
Technology at the level the Initiative is operating with? Possibly, yes. I haven't had time to analyze all of it.
Do you have any background in medicine? Nothing more than basic first aid, but I'm interested in learning more.
What about the STEM fields? Yes. I was part of the Science Guild back on New Krypton. These days I mostly focus on mechanical and electronic engineering, with astro- and temporal physics being a hobby.
What kind of weapon did you choose upon entrance to Exsilium? A small sphere the functions of which are unknown.
Have you made use of the Initiative's training areas outside of mandatory training hours? I have plans to.

What is your opinion on the Initiative and their missions? I haven't been here long enough to form a complete opinion, but so far I think they're in over their heads a bit. Messing with time is always difficult and usually inadvisable.

I'm glad you'll be alright then.

Jeez, it's like there's hardly any planning at all there. If you're willing to talk and work with those people, I bet everyone would benefit from some better logistics.

Well, all right is relative. I collapsed when I got here, and apparently the disease is hitting me very hard. I'm just keeping my prayers up. I'm a bit angry at the timing - I was going to run a religious ritual tomorrow, and now it's going to need to be put off.

I once organized a slave rebellion. I think the lack of secrecy required would only help.

That's what the doctors think from my symptoms.

I think I will. It could help us in the future... er, our future. This time travel thing is strange. It used to exist where I come from, but the magic was deemed harmful and the gods of magic erased knowledge of it from all but the goddess of all magic herself.

Yeah, it's considered pretty harmful where I'm from too. There's a laundry list of reasons messing with time is a Bad Idea.

The war's lost. The only way to win, or even get a stalemate, is change past battles. I just hope it doesn't break everything, because that's an even bigger loss, and not worth it.

And not just for the Initiative. I don't want to think about what happens to us if things go to hell in a handbasket.

And to be honest, I'm one of the few who may not want to go home when it's over. Maybe go somewhere else, but not back where I came from. Even with the war, and the illness, and everything else... I'm happier here than I was there.

I don't see any reason why you couldn't go elsewhere in the multiverse so long as you were careful about it. Provided we can get the technology working right and make sure the UE doesn't follow you, that is.

We just had an attempt to send someone home. The UE had planted something in one of the people who went on that scouting mission. They tracked us there. That world.. Is dead now. The UE sent in their soldiers and killed.... everyone. We went to fight but it was too much, too many of them.

Until we win we can't just leave. Sometimes the device that brings us here sends people away but it's unreliable.

When it's over we may not have known it happened at all.

The theories on time travel are too different to predict whether or not we'll know anything. We're essentially creating a lot of little paradoxes, so trying to figure that all out would be a headache and a half.

But I have to say, it'd be a rip-off if we did all this work and then didn't even remember it.
