Hello, fellow Transports! I know we're in a bit of a pinch right now what with this super-virus mutating and infecting some of the population, but if you have a minute I've got some questions I'd appreciate some answers to. Some of them may help either now, if we're going to be trying to treat this virus at all, or in the future should anything like this happen again.

Place of origin? Planet, country, and city of origin would be the most helpful.
Species? If you're anything other than a baseline human, does your biology differ in any notable ways?
What occupation did you have in your world of origin? "Student" and "unemployed" are perfectly valid answers.

Feel free to skip any questions you feel are too intrusive, or encrypt things if you would like to answer but would rather not answer to the whole network. What's your name? Kara Zor-El.
Age? Functionally somewhere around 19/20.
Place of origin? Earth, United States of America, Metropolis. Originally from the planet Krypton.
Species? Kryptonian. We look fairly human on the outside, but our internal organs are vastly different from those of the Homo sapiens sapiens. Radiation from a yellow sun also affects our bodies in ways baseline humans don't experience.
What occupation did you have in your world of origin? Full-time superhero. I've also sold some technology to a business with a large R&D department.
Do you have any prior experience with war? Yes.
Time travel? Yes.
Alternate universes? Sadly, yes.
Technology at the level the Initiative is operating with? Possibly, yes. I haven't had time to analyze all of it.
Do you have any background in medicine? Nothing more than basic first aid, but I'm interested in learning more.
What about the STEM fields? Yes. I was part of the Science Guild back on New Krypton. These days I mostly focus on mechanical and electronic engineering, with astro- and temporal physics being a hobby.
What kind of weapon did you choose upon entrance to Exsilium? A small sphere the functions of which are unknown.

What is your opinion on the Initiative and their missions? I haven't been here long enough to form a complete opinion, but so far I think they're in over their heads a bit. Messing with time is always difficult and usually inadvisable.

What about the STEM fields? I have a strong knowledge of forensic methods and can carry those out. My knowledge is specialised to all things related to criminal investigation.

What is your opinion on the Initiative and their missions? I don't care either way but it's sloppy, isn't it? I don't think they'll win this war. Well, that's not good for us but it's my personal opinion.

Why don't you think they'll win this war? Any reason outside of the sloppiness?

I won't put a percent on it but most people here aren't trained in combat, right? Mandatory training is only two days a week. So just looking at the pool of combatants, we're unprepared and untrained. Apparently on the last mission, quite a lot of people died and an entire world was lost.

In the grander scale, we don't have the resources to fight what amounts to an entire planet. My research says the United Earth uses highly-trained clones to fight. They've also brainwashed most of their population with drugs.

It's a classic dystopia set-up, isn't it? Against odds like that, we can't win unless that machine of theirs pulls in someone truly spectacular. That only happens in movies. In reality, we'll probably be taken out in an attack like this current one or an all-out raid.

And even if the odds aren't in our favor, that doesn't mean we shouldn't keep fighting. I don't know about you, but I don't want these bastards anywhere near my homeworld.

Research. I've been researching since I arrived. The library is very useful.

As for a definition, someone would need to be capable of standing against the UE's army. Even banded together we can't do that. It would take more than a few super soldiers to make a dent in this war.

If they choose your homeworld, can you defend it from them? As we are now, the answer is obvious.

Sounds like I need to start reading faster.

Well, I'm not my cousin, but I could probably make a half-way decent stand against a portion of the UE's army.

And my homeworld can defend against them. It would likely come at a cost, as any major invasion does, but my homeworld is full of incredible people capable of amazing things.

Wait your world could make a stand? Then your priority should be trying to gather people from your world. The machine is broken but if there are any scientists here of merit, their resources could be used to bring better fighters.

My world could make a stand, but it would likely come at a great cost. There's no guarantee bringing more people from my world would win this war.

[ and kara is selfish enough that she's not going to risk some of the only people she has left for a world she knows nothing about and a people who are clearly not on the right path morally. even if she does feel guilty for being that way. ]
