I realize because of our actions while we were stuck on the moonbase that we've changed things here on Earth, but just because the environment in Exsilium is different I think the chances are pretty high that the United Earth will come after us again now that we're back on the planet. And as far as I know we don't actually have any reliable means of uncovering any plots against us. There's no telling when and how they'll strike, and even if there was... do we even have any plans ourselves on how to deal with it? Unless we have advance warning and several days to move people back up to the moon I haven't heard about any ways to protect the Transports from the United Earth.

Besides that, I can't be the only one that would like to think of a defense plan that would protect the citizens of Exsilium as well.

And no, I haven't spoken to every Transport here, so I'm not sure there's any way to know something like that, but if anyone has any sort of ability that could help us either spy on the United Earth so we can be ready for the attacks, or protect the people here when an attack does come then I hope they'll be willing to step up. I appreciate the fact that you are.

Nothing solid at the moment. A few ideas that all have their own share of problems, but I'm open to any suggestions others might have.

This is something that we all need to work together on considering if something happens it'll end up affecting all of us.

There's quite a few unused buildings and/or people willing to loan space in return for something. We don't have proper means of defense, but we can look for a safe space for those unable to fight or those who won't [ can't win 'em all ] and use it in case of emergency.

A couple of things, yeah, now that the commotion about crime and punishment and government has died down and people are settling in on Earth again. Some of them more feasible than others.

Well, I'm not quite sure how getting people back down works, exactly. I suppose in some sort of ship. But if anything does happen, I can offer some help since I can heal? But I do think having a plan is a good idea!

Having a few would be even better. And more healers are always welcome. The past few times something big has gone down the clinic staff has ended up pretty overworked. I can't speak for all of them, but I can definitely say I'd appreciate having an extra helping set of hands around. Especially in emergency situations.

I'd like to protect everyone here if possible, not just the Transports, but in a worst case scenario as long as the Transports are still around here's a chance we can travel back in time and try to undo any damage the United Earth causes.

No. We're not in danger of the UE attacking us unless people continue to be bloody idiots running about announcing they don't belong in this universe. The current UE in this altered timeline doesn't know jack shit about the transporter or us. Hell, they may not even know much about the new Initiative period

Yes, we need to actually be doing something other than messing about in the snow. But building up defenses and structures here is only going to draw attention to us. No more stealing goddamn space ships

I can understand where you're coming from, but at the same time I don't think doing nothing is the right approach either. You're right that building up noticeable structures would actively draw their attention to us would be a bad idea, and that's definitely something we should take into account while brainstorming ideas, but there are ways of preparing our defenses while staying subtle. We don't have to steal ships or build massive forts in the middle of Exsilium to give ourselves a better defensive standpoint on the off chance an attack does come.

The timeline might be changed, but the fact remains that Exsilium isn't under the United Earth's direct control, and it's not in our best interest to make the assumption that they'll definitely continue to leave this place alone.

The first order of business should be to determine where the other transports are staying, canvas our surroundings, and come up with potential invasion routes and escape routes should we need them.

I think you're right about that. A general headcount might not be bad either, even if that number is constantly in flux.
