I realize because of our actions while we were stuck on the moonbase that we've changed things here on Earth, but just because the environment in Exsilium is different I think the chances are pretty high that the United Earth will come after us again now that we're back on the planet. And as far as I know we don't actually have any reliable means of uncovering any plots against us. There's no telling when and how they'll strike, and even if there was... do we even have any plans ourselves on how to deal with it? Unless we have advance warning and several days to move people back up to the moon I haven't heard about any ways to protect the Transports from the United Earth.

Besides that, I can't be the only one that would like to think of a defense plan that would protect the citizens of Exsilium as well.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for having an actual game plan but as of right now?

No. We're not in danger of the UE attacking us unless people continue to be bloody idiots running about announcing they don't belong in this universe. The current UE in this altered timeline doesn't know jack shit about the transporter or us. Hell, they may not even know much about the new Initiative period

Yes, we need to actually be doing something other than messing about in the snow. But building up defenses and structures here is only going to draw attention to us. No more stealing goddamn space ships

No obviously we shouldn't do nothing, but the honest truth is that we haven't got the resources to protect the Exiles. Hell, we've hardly the resources to protect ourselves. An evacuation plan is admirable, but our best bet it to not go stirring the pot in the current time line: keep our heads low, run missions, keep the bulk of our efforts in the past

For as long as a large percentage of the Exiles are relatively secure and satisfied with their lives here, I can almost guarantee the UE won't burn the resources to attack them. Why bother, when so far as the UE knows Exsilium bears no threat to them? And it's hardly as if they couldn't roll in and demand a tithe of whatever's being produced here if they started to care. It's easier for the UE to steal resources than it is for them to destroy things wholesale right now. So the best thing we can do is avoid looking like either a threat or a resource to be mined

Us running missions that change the current timeline doesn't do anything to weaken our position here as the UE can't track that nonsense. Thing change and they've no record of it. The shit that gets us in trouble is messing about in the present. It's that simple

By all means, figure out an evacuation plan to pull our ass out of the fire. But keep in mind any heat we could potentially be in would be a fire we'd started ourselves
