[ The camera cuts on, and Jude stares at it for a few seconds. He hesitates, before leaping right into what he wanted to discuss here. ]

I realize because of our actions while we were stuck on the moonbase that we've changed things here on Earth, but just because the environment in Exsilium is different I think the chances are pretty high that the United Earth will come after us again now that we're back on the planet. And as far as I know we don't actually have any reliable means of uncovering any plots against us. There's no telling when and how they'll strike, and even if there was... do we even have any plans ourselves on how to deal with it? Unless we have advance warning and several days to move people back up to the moon I haven't heard about any ways to protect the Transports from the United Earth.

Besides that, I can't be the only one that would like to think of a defense plan that would protect the citizens of Exsilium as well.

If it's necessary. I'm already mulling over a few possibilities, but I'm also hoping people have already thought up some ideas that we might be able to work with. The more options we have to work the with, the better.

Not really, no. That's part of why the Transports need to have this conversation sooner rather than later.

Long overdue. We should have started planning for something like this before we returned to Exsilium.

You wish to protect everyone, yet you won't even introduce yourself? ... But I suppose that shows how serious you are. That said, do you even know what each and every Transport is capable of? No, forget that—most Transports don't care about protecting strangers, much less those from this world.

I don't mind lending you a hand, though. I'm sick of sitting around.

And no, I haven't spoken to every Transport here, so I'm not sure there's any way to know something like that, but if anyone has any sort of ability that could help us either spy on the United Earth so we can be ready for the attacks, or protect the people here when an attack does come then I hope they'll be willing to step up. I appreciate the fact that you are.

The bombs... were there others before the ones that chased us to the moon?

In June. I got here in June and yeah. there were bombs at after the plague had already Before then too. I think. Someone told me it happened before then too. You have to ask people who've been here longer.

Exsilium is an island, so the United Earth's attacks will be coming from the air and sea. We will need an anti-navy force. I can provide it.

[ ... Plague? ]

I'll see if I can find someone to ask about it. It'd be good to know what they've done in the past. It'll give us a better idea of what their usual patterns are.

It's nice to meet you, Kougyoku, but... can you really provide a full anti-navy force? It's not like we really have the resources to build a fleet of our own right now.

Anything in mind?

Nothing solid at the moment. A few ideas that all have their own share of problems, but I'm open to any suggestions others might have.

This is something that we all need to work together on considering if something happens it'll end up affecting all of us.

There's quite a few unused buildings and/or people willing to loan space in return for something. We don't have proper means of defense, but we can look for a safe space for those unable to fight or those who won't [ can't win 'em all ] and use it in case of emergency.

Something like that should able to work if the send in an army, but if there's any bombings again then we'll probably want to dig out some sort of bunker underneath them as well for people to hide in.

Though if it's anything like the last one I'm not sure a bunker will even be enough to keep people safe.

Still, it's better than what we have right now, and it would be a good place to start.

At the very least if trouble heads our way we can keep noncombatants out of sight and safe.

Right. Though we might want to find a small group of people trained in combat that would be willing to stay with them as well and protect them the United Earth forces managed to find them.

A small group shouldn't be too hard.

[ It's attempting to mobilize a mass group that Kate has given up on for the time being. Like Collette said: focus on the ones willing to do something. Those are the ones worth it. ]

Finding a building large enough to house a group of 100+ might take some time, but I'll look into it.

Thanks. I appreciate it, and I'm sure the people who would need to use it will too, once we manage to get something set up for them.

Let me know if there's anything you need help with in this. I'm sure I can find some way to help with the cost of it.

Yeah...I probably should have coughed up my plans a week ago instead of picking over logistics.
