I think that I can relate to you, somewhat. Yes. There are certainly people I know at home that would have been much more useful in fighting a war. But instead, I am here! And I can not even shoot a gun properly! And there are many people here who are in a similar situation, I think.

I am sorry that you miss your friends- but perhaps you can make many new ones here? There is always a bright side.

I think they try and bring people here who they think for the most part will be useful, but don't always succeed.
