[When Jaime turns the tablet on, he's standing in front of the cinema that a couple of the other Transports had constructed, visible hand propped up on a broomstick. The area is still scattered with debris and dust after the bombings, but it's clear that he's at least made the rudimentary attempts at cleaning a path to the miraculously intact structure. He gives the camera a little wave.]

Hey! So, it's come to my attention that some people around here have never seen a movie before even though we've got a theatre right here. I'm thinking we're totally past due for a movie night, and it just so happens that I found a copy of E.T. in one of the databases. This place still needs to be cleaned up a bit, but I think I can have it ready by let's sayyyy Saturday, 7 PM. Everyone's welcome to come on down.

Or at least you are as long as you bring snacks.

[He grins at the camera. He's joking, honest. Mostly. Mostly joking. A movie's not a movie without snacks.]

A fictional one. A puppet, actually. I don't think they ever named what the species was supposed to be - ET doesn't really speak English.

The place was wide open, and it looked pretty abandoned to me. [He gestures behind him, at the debris and dust littering the area.]

Okay, but first you have to explain to me what E.T. is. And possibly theaters, because I think my version might be a lot different from what you're talking about.

It'll be easier once you actually see it... but the fact that you know what a version of a theatre is at all probably gives you a leg up. Think the same kind of theatre that you'd watch a play or performance in, except for instead of a stage, there's a huge screen. And E.T.'s just the name of the movie.

[There's some incomprehensible yelling, and in his excitement it takes Rudy a few seconds to properly line up the camera with his face.]

Oh! Yes! I'm in. My schedule is so clear. I've cleared it right out for you. I fucking love E.T., I do. This is going to be the most amazing film night ever. I can feel it now. I just. No. I can't. I can't deal with the waiting. If you need anyone to go through the film before hand, check everything's working...

[As he trails off he almost manages to look casual. Almost. It takes less than five seconds for that front to fall through completely.]

Actually, let me do it anyway. There's no way you'll regret it, I promise you.

In this case? You'll be expecting a family movie about a friendly alien crash landing on Earth. Most of the other alien movies I've seen are more of the taking over the world type, though.

Anything that's easy to eat and share. Normally movie theatres have popcorn and candy and stuff, but I don't know much of that's available around here.
