[When Jaime turns the tablet on, he's standing in front of the cinema that a couple of the other Transports had constructed, visible hand propped up on a broomstick. The area is still scattered with debris and dust after the bombings, but it's clear that he's at least made the rudimentary attempts at cleaning a path to the miraculously intact structure. He gives the camera a little wave.]

Hey! So, it's come to my attention that some people around here have never seen a movie before even though we've got a theatre right here. I'm thinking we're totally past due for a movie night, and it just so happens that I found a copy of E.T. in one of the databases. This place still needs to be cleaned up a bit, but I think I can have it ready by let's sayyyy Saturday, 7 PM. Everyone's welcome to come on down.

Or at least you are as long as you bring snacks.

How do you keep track of all those regional divisions, anyway?

Lots of ways. We're taught geography in school if you're just talking about the borders. Otherwise, there's stuff like your skin colour and your culture, what you eat and what you wear, what language you speak and how you speak it. I wouldn't be able to tell you the half of it.

I'm giving up hope on ever getting close. Do you think it matters... I know there's sociopolitics underlying our missions on some level.

I don't think most humans know all of it. [Jaime only really knows the stuff specific to his region, at any rate.] It's probably not all that important in Exsilium? And I hear we go to so many different places and times on missions that everyone will probably need a refresher on all of that.

You hear? You're a new arrival this month?

I got here the month before the bombings, so the rock-gathering mission was my first. I haven't been sent on any of the smaller missions yet.

Oh, you'll get to join in the fun soon enough. I hope your roommates are ready to go on in their domestic affairs without you.

A few, yeah. More places will offer it than you think if you just ask. Money's money, right?

Not as much as it used to be, unfortunately. I've seen some of the vendors who display their prices on boards erase the numbers to increase them when a Transport is coming around the corner.

Oh -- yeah. [His face falls a little.] That's gotta be hard. I can usually pass for one of them, so I've got it a lot easier.

[Her eyes twitch in difficult-to-hide jealousy.]

Maybe we'll get another mission with tangible results soon.

Hopefully. Until then, you can always get some of us who can pass to help you out, errand-wise.
