Um- hello! My name is Cheria Barnes, and I've been here for a few months now. I'd meant to do this sooner, but with everything that's happened... Well, it seems like as best a time as any now.

Back home on Ephinea I lead a relief organization to help with the aftereffects of war. We ran food drives, helped with building repairs, gave first aid-- pretty much anything people needed of us that we could help with, you know?

So... I was thinking that I could start something like that up here too. For people that can't fight but still want to help. I thought it would probably be a good way to get the people here to trust us again too... Anyway, if you'd be interested, please let me know!

[Cheria sets her tablet down and hurries to the door to open it. Oh- not who she was expecting. This was Kaneis' friend that was staying with them now, right...? She's been out and about so much doing things that she hasn't really gotten a chance to meet him properly.]

[It's been a week since she arrived. Enough time to get a sense of the situation; recovery is a struggle with no clear end in sight, organization borders on nonexistent, and fragile relations are threatening to collapse.

This is about the best idea she's heard since her arrival, and it needs all the support it can get. So here's one senator, showing hers!]

[She's glad that people seem interested. It looks like it will be possible after all. She needs to start taking down names and doing some field work to see where they're needed most first. Figure out what the strengths are of the people helping, and lead them accordingly. This time around, it wasn't just people she'd grown up with helping, so it's a little daunting.]

That's what I thought too! I'm happy so many people want to help this way.

[It's been such a while since Shery's appearance on the network, so the very first thing she responds to — jovially and upbeat — is a plea of help from a familiar person.

I think it's a lovely idea! In fact, I'll gladly provide some spirit uplifting for these people around here, to go along with the relief funds.

Ah- really? That's great to hear! Can you tell me what's already been done so far, so I know where it's best to start?

[Helping people is something that will always be ingrained in Joan no matter where her occupation takes her and she can't help but take to the idea upon hearing it.]

I have past experience as a doctor. If you need help with anything first aid related, I wouldn't mind leading a hand.

Oh! That's wonderful. Have you thought about helping out at the Transport clinic? There's a lot of damage there but regardless we're still working diligently to assist anyone that comes in. With everything in such disarray, I think it might be a good idea to do more house calls, too. And if it's possible and they'll allow us, to help the natives that were injured too.

It's great! So many people want to help out. I think we can really make a difference here. Everyone has different skills that can do so much good, and- [Whoops, she's rambling.]

Say, Asbel, didn't you say you'd help out too? [Because she was blind but she still sort of wants to hold him to it.]

It seems you're finding a way to make your present work here, then. Do you have the resources to begin it?

Mm! I've been saving up since I arrived, so I have a bit of money to put towards resources. And everyone's been so helpful so far, and have resources of their own to offer, so... It'll be small at first, but with work and dedication we can do more than that!
