Um- hello! My name is Cheria Barnes, and I've been here for a few months now. I'd meant to do this sooner, but with everything that's happened... Well, it seems like as best a time as any now.

Back home on Ephinea I lead a relief organization to help with the aftereffects of war. We ran food drives, helped with building repairs, gave first aid-- pretty much anything people needed of us that we could help with, you know?

So... I was thinking that I could start something like that up here too. For people that can't fight but still want to help. I thought it would probably be a good way to get the people here to trust us again too... Anyway, if you'd be interested, please let me know!

[She bows, but it's a little lost in the view of the tablet.]

Um-- how did he say to turn it off again? [The feed is still live for a few minutes before she finally manages to turn it off.]

[Aster shakes his head at that. Although he's tempted to say yes in case that would draw out Emil so they could finally meet. It's never been in him to lie though so the feeling passes. He'll find another way.]

It's difficult to believe because of our appearance, but we're not related at all.

Really...?

[She sounds dubious about that.]

I just saw him and you two are identical! It's a little hard to believe.

[That initial cheerfulness vanishes into a more serious expression at her comment. He's neither mean or rude, but he's been trying to talk to contact Emil for awhile now. Tracking him down has been difficult. He may not be willing to lie, but he's not about to let this opportunity slip.

If you don't mind me asking, how long ago did you see him?

[The seriousness catches her off guard.]

Huh? Just a minute ago. He's staying at my apartment right now... Did you need him for something?

[That explains a lot. Aster's in a weird position right now. Does he try to pass along a message that will likely be ignored or attempt to show up unannounced and hope for the best? He wants to know what's going on and Emil is the key to that, though he's starting to have his own unnerving suspicions about the whole thing.]

Correct. I've been trying to contact him for some time now. Do you mind if I stop by? It's important.

[Which really isn't him requesting so much as asking 'Where do you live because I am gonna come by']

[Cheria isn't sure what's going on, but it seems strange that someone's looking for Emil recently and he just recently took up residence with them. Are they somehow connected? She hadn't really asked why, but now she's a little uneasy about it.

But if Emil really wanted to hide, he would have mentioned something about it, right? So maybe it's just coincidence. It's a minute before she finally responds, nodding.]

Oh, sure... I'm in apartment 103.

[If he hadn't been so eager to know where Emil was, Aster would have made this conversation private. It's too late for that now. Since there's not much he can do on that end, he's going to try and delay someone telling Emil he was gonna stop by. The last thing he wants is for him to bolt. ]

If you don't mind, I have one more request. Could you not tell Emil I'm coming by?

[YEAH THAT DOESN'T SOUND SUSPICIOUS.]

[Okay, now she really does have a bad feeling about this. It's definitely suspicious. What if this guy was the reason Emil was staying with him, and she just gave away he location? Oh man. She glances at her door, and it is pretty clear that she is considering doing the exact opposite.]

Why...? Shouldn't he know if he's going to have company?

[Come on. Don't you trust the face of someone you already know? Aster was prepared for that response at least. Even he can't deny how weird that request sounded.]
