[The video is a little shaky when it first comes on before it's finally moved to display the user's face.]

Is it working...?

Um- hello! My name is Cheria Barnes, and I've been here for a few months now. I'd meant to do this sooner, but with everything that's happened... Well, it seems like as best a time as any now.

Back home on Ephinea I lead a relief organization to help with the aftereffects of war. We ran food drives, helped with building repairs, gave first aid-- pretty much anything people needed of us that we could help with, you know?

So... I was thinking that I could start something like that up here too. For people that can't fight but still want to help. I thought it would probably be a good way to get the people here to trust us again too... Anyway, if you'd be interested, please let me know!

Thank you.

[She bows, but it's a little lost in the view of the tablet.]

Um-- how did he say to turn it off again? [The feed is still live for a few minutes before she finally manages to turn it off.]

Yes, yes I think I would! [She looks off-screen, clearly jotting something down.] Do you--do you have any idea of where you'd like to start?

[Food drive--] I may be able to help with your food drive! For free, even...

[Her book moves off the screen, and she reaches forward to pick the tablet up. The feed shakes wildly for a minute, and then resettles on the rest of the table--where five or ten plants are sprouting in various small pieces of china. One has even begun sprouting its bounty--tomatoes.]

I'm working on the perfect lamp configuration, but with a little more work, anyone can grow these with some water and an outlet.

Well, the one that start to flower should be ready in a few days, if it continues its growth rate... I guess a week to ten days for each plant? That's just for tomatoes, though, I'm going to try working on root vegetables that need less sunlight, and I think those should take a couple of days!

[She reaches into the frame from above to touch the green tomato on the plant, turning it back and forth.]

They're not perfect, yet, but they're doing better than a lot of the tomatoes at the market...
