[ As always, the video feed turns on - she may not use the network much, but she did when she needed to. This time, Lucy is seated at a desk with balls upon balls upon balls of crumpled up pieces of paper. She gave a dejected little sigh. No matter how hard she tried, her stories just weren't forming the way she wanted them to. She knew why at least - kinda. She needed a distraction, desperately. Finally, she let out a frustrated noise, flailing at the desk and shredding a piece of paper before running her hands through her hair. She'd been TRYING (key word) to write about the latest capers with the body swapping and everything, even though she wasn't affected by it, but... ]

Aaaa - Darnit!!

[ HUFF. ]

I'm not making any progress on this whatsoever. It's not even writer's block, it's just..

[ She stopped there, brown eyes shifting towards the feed as she stretched one arm over her head, the other reaching behind her head to grasp her elbow. MRPH. ]

I think I need some air. Anyone want to come with me? I was thinking about exploring the Outlands a little. A distraction should be just what I need to get a fresh start on this.

Ah, well I thought I'd try writing a story about this whole body swapping mess, and a few other things, but I've been having trouble concentrating today.

I thought I'd head into the forest a little more. I didn't go very far in last time.

[ A faint smile follows that last. ]

Thanks. I guess it helped that I wound up getting sent home a little after that for a while.

[He knows that, and almost comments--only remembering himself at the very last moment with an obvious awkward pause.]

There are a lot of places that don't take too far to get to. Mostly around water.

[But the question attracts his attention.]

[That being said Lucy did say she wanted to go out of the city so naturally that puts any potential sparring and exploring on hold.]

[ YES IT IS. Indirectly. Because her thoughts kept wandering back to THEN. THere's a short pause, before she grins. ]

... Okay. Just let me clean up here, and I'll meet you outside. [ Assuming he wasn't already on the way and climbing in her window because he can't use a door darnit. ]

[Close. He plans on climbing up the drain pipe then shimmying from from window to window until he reaches hers.]

No, that's all right - I'm just going to go for a walk to get some fresh air and tackle it again afterwards. I think that's the best thing I can do - I've been working on it almost all night already.
