[ As always, the video feed turns on - she may not use the network much, but she did when she needed to. This time, Lucy is seated at a desk with balls upon balls upon balls of crumpled up pieces of paper. She gave a dejected little sigh. No matter how hard she tried, her stories just weren't forming the way she wanted them to. She knew why at least - kinda. She needed a distraction, desperately. Finally, she let out a frustrated noise, flailing at the desk and shredding a piece of paper before running her hands through her hair. She'd been TRYING (key word) to write about the latest capers with the body swapping and everything, even though she wasn't affected by it, but... ]

Aaaa - Darnit!!

[ HUFF. ]

I'm not making any progress on this whatsoever. It's not even writer's block, it's just..

[ She stopped there, brown eyes shifting towards the feed as she stretched one arm over her head, the other reaching behind her head to grasp her elbow. MRPH. ]

I think I need some air. Anyone want to come with me? I was thinking about exploring the Outlands a little. A distraction should be just what I need to get a fresh start on this.

[He knows that, and almost comments--only remembering himself at the very last moment with an obvious awkward pause.]

There are a lot of places that don't take too far to get to. Mostly around water.

[But the question attracts his attention.]

[ Huh. What's that awkward pause all about, she wonders. Ah well. Nodding instead at the question, she grins a little. ]

Yeah. For about seven years, in fact. [ Not that she's aged any. ]

Really? You don't look like you've aged a day.

[He's a little confused actually, but also intrigued and amused.]

[ She laughs sheepishly. ]

Well -- that's because my friends and I were under a spell of stasis during that time - to protect us from an attack. So while time passed for everyone else in the guild that wasn't on Tenroujima, time didn't pass for us.

That's interesting! Hard to imagine, but interesting. I'm afraid I don't know very much about magic at all. How does magic work in your world?

Well - magic can only be used by those who are wizards, and each wizard specializes in a branch of magic. Dragon Slayer, Elemental, Celestial, Time magic - things like that.

[He laughs.]

My head is spinning already. But it sounds very useful. I remember last time we talked, you had a Celestial Spirit. So is Celestial your branch?

[He's guessing, but it makes sense to him]

[ She grins sympathetically. ]
