[ As always, the video feed turns on - she may not use the network much, but she did when she needed to. This time, Lucy is seated at a desk with balls upon balls upon balls of crumpled up pieces of paper. She gave a dejected little sigh. No matter how hard she tried, her stories just weren't forming the way she wanted them to. She knew why at least - kinda. She needed a distraction, desperately. Finally, she let out a frustrated noise, flailing at the desk and shredding a piece of paper before running her hands through her hair. She'd been TRYING (key word) to write about the latest capers with the body swapping and everything, even though she wasn't affected by it, but... ]

Aaaa - Darnit!!

[ HUFF. ]

I'm not making any progress on this whatsoever. It's not even writer's block, it's just..

[ She stopped there, brown eyes shifting towards the feed as she stretched one arm over her head, the other reaching behind her head to grasp her elbow. MRPH. ]

I think I need some air. Anyone want to come with me? I was thinking about exploring the Outlands a little. A distraction should be just what I need to get a fresh start on this.

[ Awww, it's ... kinda weird to hear the nervousness in the big guy. But Lucy grins reassuringly. Don't worry Wing, it'll be -fun-! ]

A bit, yeah. Natsu and I went out into the forest not too long ago, and had a little picnic when we got tired.

[ Picnic. Food. She glances at the basket over her arm, then towards Natsu, and then at Wing. Shit. Does he eat food? She didn't think she had enough for someone so huge! Even if she went back inside to make more sandwiches. Heck, that might empty out her refrigerator and still need more food. ]

Uh-um... but I thought we could try a different direction in the forest this time. We might see something new, you know?

Yeah. Though I gotta say you're the first friend I make that's THIS big and awesome looking.

[You might even notice a sparkle of awe in his eyes right there. Unfortunately Lucy's the only one worried about what Wing eats.]

Yea we did see some interesting animals last time. And a bunch of that were pretty smart.

[Smart that they backed off when Natsu flared up.]

[Wing had lived isolated for a long time where he could only dream of exploring. This is the most fun he could imagine.]

I think anything would be new to me. Animals? [Sound wonderful!]

[He laughs at Natsu.] I hope I can live up to your expectations, friend.

[ Oh that look on Natsu's face was too priceless for words. She giggles to herself, glancing at Wing again. ]

Deer of every color, and giant ravens. Hungry ones. [ Hee. ]

Don't worry Wing - I think you already have. [ Judging from that sparkle in Natsu's eyes. Hilarious. ]

Shall we go?

[Oh Wing was in good hands if he wanted adventure and exploration.]

Yeah lets get going. We can mark the path too like last time!

[You know to map out the area like last time.]

I've never seen any of those! [He can't even hide his eagerness at this point. ]

But don't worry. I can protect you, if anything tries.

[He nods, the flightpanels on his back twitching with eagerness.]

[ Lucy glanced between Wing and Natsu, genuinely unsure which was being more amusing. Wing's obvious eagerness was adorable, and Natsu - well, Natsu was Natsu. Adjusting her grip on the basket, she chuckled at the two, quietly. ]

Right, then let's go! [ She started off down the street towards the edge of the city, glancing over her shoulder to her new friends. Knowing Natsu he was probably going to talk up a storm with Wing- but hey, if he didn't, Lucy would. She was all kinda of fascinated~! ]

[Talking up a storm is right. So many things to ask a giant robot.]

They're really cool but kinda hard to get near. They get scared off real easy.

[And with a giant stonking robot that will probably happen quite a bit but hey no biggie.]

So what do you do back in your world, Wing?

I-I could carry that for you?

[It did seem strange to be the largest one but carrying nothing.]

Well, I'd love to just see one, at any rate.

In my world? [He grins.] I'm a knight.

[ Ohgosh Wing. Lucy grins up at him, shaking her head. ]

It's all right, it's not heavy or anything. [ She wouldn't ask their guest adventurer to carry the basket anyway! It'd just be wrong.

She's content to lead the way, pleased as punch at the party of three. Though she hums with interest at the latter. ]

A knight? Really?

Robots have knights huh? Does that mean you also have kings?

[He's a very simple sort but hey that means he can find interest in things most wouldn't.]

Well, if you want me to, I'd gladly carry it.

[He's content just to walk, though, talking to them.]

A knight. I've pledged my life to defend my people. But no. We don't have kings. That sort of power invites corruption.

I'll keep that in mind. [ There might be a time she'd need him to hold onto her stuff - though honestly, she usually depended on Natsu for packmuling. Still, she wasn't going to pass up the offer from their new friend. ]

So if you don't have Kings, do you have some other kind of leader, or ruler?

Wow you're thinker too huh? Well you got the armor for the part. You have a sword too?

[Oops should've waited for Lucy to get her answer first.]
