I miss home. I know that's normal, I know - I know there's nothing that can be done about it. I try to keep that in mind so it won't get to me so much. Everyone is so nice and helpful, even with everything going on. I'm very thankful, and - I would like to think I have made some friends.
[There's a pause, and he sighs softly. He suddenly isn't sure why he decided to start this feed.]
It's weird... one of the things I miss the most is hearing my language. [a little exhale, followed by a contradictory smile.] I wasn't used to speaking English for so long until I came here.
... Are all of you from English-speaking countries?

[The pronunciation of some of the words, and a handful of the words themselves are entirely different.]

This language, where I come from, is called 'Chondathan'. It was one of the main languages in the area I traveled. There are others I know -
[She says, in what sounds enough like Spanish to be understandable as such, but in a very formal mode:] There is this language of civilized persons [Switching back to English] which is Illuskan...
[Another language, this one like Arabic, before switching back] Midani...
[Another one! This one is blunt and the words come out almost in a chant.] Dwarven.
I also speak the language of the orcs, but most of that is not fit for polite conversation.

[Then at the language, she will quickly add.]
I don't speak English. Even though, I'm taking English classes at school, but it hasn't been sticking at all. [A small laugh over it.] Anyway! Where are you from? I'm from Japan. Umm...I think you can guess what language I speak, huh? [Somehow she felt it would be silly to announce she knows Japanese when she gave away where she was from.]

I don't think it's weird, language is important after all! I know it's not the same, but there might be more who speak French here so that might help a little.
