I miss home. I know that's normal, I know - I know there's nothing that can be done about it. I try to keep that in mind so it won't get to me so much. Everyone is so nice and helpful, even with everything going on. I'm very thankful, and - I would like to think I have made some friends.

[There's a pause, and he sighs softly. He suddenly isn't sure why he decided to start this feed.]

It's weird... one of the things I miss the most is hearing my language. [a little exhale, followed by a contradictory smile.] I wasn't used to speaking English for so long until I came here.

... Are all of you from English-speaking countries?

Oh - right. [a little exhale,] Sorry.

Don't be. It's still hard for me to imagine more than one world. More than one time is bad as it is; it's nearly enough to make my head spin.

No kidding. It's hard to figure out who's from where when you have to take time into account, too.

It's ridiculous. [She sounds irritated now, and of all the things to be irritated over.] I suppose we could all wear name tags, if that would help.

I'm not so sure that would make me feel better.

[sigh] No, likely not. But I can't help wishing for a way to ease the confusion.

Welcoming the newcomers helps. A little. I guess.

It helps them, at least. But I suppose that's our best option out of few good ones—to help each other where we can.

People helped me. I'm not sure how coming here would have been for me if they hadn't.

Quite confusing, I expect. Not that it isn't for most of us anyway.

Yeah. This place is - it's a bit of a mess. I wouldn't want to be from here.

Well, that's what we're here for, isn't it? To clean up the mess. Whether we like it or not.
