[The video feed is almost painful to look at. It's fragmented, and disorienting. Someone hasn't fixed the lens they cracked a while back, apparently.

But at least the video is short? For once, Yosuke's not chatty. He gets right to the point.]

I'm in ten-oh-five. My name is Yosuke. I...can a doctor come here? The clinic is far. I can pay.

[And then for good measure:]

[The kid isn't bleeding, and aside from being damp and dirty -very dirty, he must have just come back from a hike- doesn't appear to be in bad shape. But he does sound sincere about the request.]

(Ooc note! He's back from his hike tonight guys, and if you were in on the log go on and do your own things. It's that time. I sent out charts so you know what to do!

[Normally he's super impressed by teleportation. Cool! At the moment he's not as lively as usual, though.]

[A few minutes pass, and Adra's knocking on this guy's door.]

Open up, if you can.

[The door opens after a moment. On the other side is an unhappy teenager.]

Thanks for coming.

[bloodspeaker]

[he waves his hand dismissively.]

It's my job. Let's have a look at you.

[He takes a few steps closer to the young man, his lips pursed.]

Tell me your symptoms.

Kind of fluey, sir. My stomach...ugh. It feels bad. And my head hurts. And I think I'm hot.

[He does indeed have a fever, but otherwise nothing appears too severe from the outside. He does hunch in on himself a little, clearly uncomfortable.]

[bloodspeaker]

[Adra lifts a slightly glowing hand, which he then presses to the boy's forehead. He frowns as he concentrates, trying to detect the source and particulars of any illness.]

What were you doing before these symptoms began? Did you eat anything rotten? Inhale anything toxic? Et cetera.

[The source probably seems to be everywhere. Something foreign has been absorbed into the kid's body, and it's doing damage.]

No. I was outside.

[As the dirt probably implies for him, but it's best to be clear when speaking to a doctor, isn't it?]

But I know it's bad to drink the water out there. Someone told me before. I brought my own supplies when I left.

Outside? The Outlands, you mean. That atmosphere is not suitable for humans.

[The glow intensifies, and healing energy begins to pour forth from his palm. It envelops Yosuke like a shimmering, translucent egg shell, and feels physically like a soothing warmth. Adra's magic can heal injuries, but it can cure most illnesses, too. He directs his spell to whatever anomalies it can find, and tries to root them out.]

[Billy looks very worried. This is sure a thing to come back to.]

Yosuke, what's wrong?

I think I ate something. Or caught something.

[Welcome back, Billy. Not that Yosuke knows yet you've been gone. ]

[oncearanger]

[Billy leans close to the screen, trying to see any symptoms he can.]

What are you feeling right now? Do you need me to come over?

[inthejunk]

[He's a bit pale, maybe, but otherwise there's nothing visibly wrong.]

Kind of hot. And my stomach-

[The many fractured little Yosukes on the screen grimace.]

-it feels off. And my head hurts. It must be a virus. You probably shouldn't get close, in case it's contagious.

Have you been in contact with anyone else with the same symptoms recently?

No. I was out of the city. Only a few other people were out there at all, and they seemed...

[Ow, cramps. He doubles up a bit to ride then out.]

Oh, man. I think I need to- I'll be back.

[oncearanger]

[Billy waits for him, but when Yosuke returns he might see that Billy looks anxious.]

Nausea and vomiting, right?

How long were you out there?

Unh. It was...I don't know. Only a few days.

[He curls over on himself, still uncomfortable.]

I didn't eat anything out there or drink the water, I swear. I brought my own supplies.

[Not masked. She's wearing a cloak. That's the shadow her hood casts on her face that makes it look like... Forget about it. Raven had given up on trying to explain this to people anyway.]

[His face is a bit red with fever, and he hunches over uncomfortably as he trails off.]

[The screeching sound Yosuke makes in response to that is something he'll later deny came from him, but holy shit. Even for this place that's a new one.]

[Raven sighs at his reaction, crossing her arms under her breasts.]

[He takes a seat on the bed, even though he's still filthy from outside, and rubs his stomach uncomfortably.]

Just a virus I guess. Maybe food poisoning. Sorry to disappoint you.
