[The video feed is almost painful to look at. It's fragmented, and disorienting. Someone hasn't fixed the lens they cracked a while back, apparently.

But at least the video is short? For once, Yosuke's not chatty. He gets right to the point.]

I'm in ten-oh-five. My name is Yosuke. I...can a doctor come here? The clinic is far. I can pay.

[And then for good measure:]

Please?

[The kid isn't bleeding, and aside from being damp and dirty -very dirty, he must have just come back from a hike- doesn't appear to be in bad shape. But he does sound sincere about the request.]

(Ooc note! He's back from his hike tonight guys, and if you were in on the log go on and do your own things. It's that time. I sent out charts so you know what to do!

Anyone else? It's not contagious, don't worry.)

[Wow. It really does feel better! It's the first time in hours his guys aren't twisted and writhing. Yosuke sighs in relief, and he's pleased again when the movement doesn't make him queasy.]

Yeah, that's...good. Thanks.

[Raven nods at his thanks.] You're welcome. Doesn't mean you're healed, though. [She has just numbed the pain so that he can't feel it anymore.] So you should rest.

[She stands up.] I'm going to go make us some tea, now.

Mm. Sounds nice.

[Yosuke grins at her. With the good down, he can see that she's rather pretty. And she took away his miserable stomachache, even if only for a while. And she's making tea. At the moment, he's pretty psyched that she dropped by...even if she's probably a ghost.

He even feels up to taking a shower now, so he heads off to do that as soon as she leaves for the kitchen.]

[Oh no, Yosuke. She's not a ghost. She's very much alive. ...She's just a half-demon. No big deal, huh?

Raven hears the water pour down in the shower cabin, so she decides to stay in the kitchen until he's back. Just in case. Living in a tower with three teenage boys has taught her to be careful in some situations.

When the water stars shimmering she pours it a tea pot and lets the tea leaves infuse for a bit. She sets two mugs on the table and takes a seat in front of one.]

[He's afraid to ask what would be a big deal...

Five minutes later, he pads out to the kitchen, scrubbed clean and still damp. Nice to be in the bathroom for something that feels good, like that shower. Seeing the teapot, he sinks gratefully into the seat across from the girl.]

Is it ready?

[Well actually... it's not something she's particularly proud of. So if he asks she'll probably find some way to answer without mentioning the half-demon part. Especially since it's the first time they actually meet.

Raven nods at his question. Well he does smell better too now. Not that she'd say it out loud. It would be kinda tactless.] It should be now. Want some?

[And without really waiting for his answer she flicks her wrist. The tea pot is immediately surrounded in a black glow and starts floating gently towards Yosuke's mug.]

Woah!

[It's kind of impossible not to ask after something like that. His eyes go wide, and he openly stares from the teapot to the girl and back again.]

What the hell?

[Raven sighs, stands up and wraps one of her hands around the tea pot handle. After both the phasing and the healing, she'd thought something as basic as telekinesis wasn't going to impress him. ...Looks like she's been wrong about that. She looks at him blankly.] That's called telekinesis. So... Want some tea?

[Nope, it seems like he'll continue to be phased by just about everything. Though he does laugh at the retort, even though she's probably not kidding.]

Yeah, I guess it is. Maybe it matches the ghost powers, but I've never met a ghost who can heal before, ya know? Not that I'm complaining. Please don't take it away, alright?

[She pours tea in both their mugs and then sits back down.] Well I've never met a ghost who can heal either. And I'm no ghost if that's what you wanted to know.

[She takes a sip at her mug and quirks a quizzical eyebrow at his last remark.] I won't. ...Sounds like ghosts are pretty touchy in the world you come from.

I guess you don't know Kabuki.

[He takes a small, careful sip. He's not sure if he can trust his insides not to rebound right now, but the fact they don't hurt anymore is encouraging enough to give it a try.]

I guess it's for the best. I'm not sure I want vengeful spirits in my kitchen anyway.

Indeed. I don't.

[Hot liquids, especially tea, are good for what you have, Yosuke.]

I doubt anyone likes that. ...Do I really look like one? [Not sure she should ask but the question is out before she can stop it.]

I've never seen one before. But in movies they're never cute girls. Sometimes they're scary demon faced girls...or animals. Mostly those two things.

[When the tea seems to agree with him, he sighs in relief and takes an actual sip. It doesn't make his stomach sore or restless, just warm and full. It's such a nice feeling that he leans back in the chair and blinks slowly, already fighting a bit of pleasant drowsiness.]

If you want to see, try to find a horror movie somehow.

Oh, I've already seen horror movies. Just not many that involved ghost girls.

[And then she seems to realize something.] Cute girls? You think I'm...? [Despite her scary powers and her usual skin and hair colors?]

Those are the best ones! Ghost girls are really scary.

[He grins at her question, and ducks his head to take another sip of tea before replying. Sure, some of the girls here are a little exotic, but you'll have that at the end of the world, right?]

Sorry, did it offend you? I just meant that you don't scare me. You'd make a pretty bad ghost.

If you say so.

[A barely there blush colors her cheeks.] Why would it have offended me? [Before she too takes a sip of tea. And then a slight smirk curls her lips.] And yet I remember you were pretty scared not more than five minutes ago...

Hey! That was just surprise! It's rude to teleport in unannounced you know.

[Though her objective is achieved. He's blushing a bit now, too. And giving his teacup a somewhat dirty look.]

[Her smirk widens a bit at that.] Actually I meant the floating tea pot but... that too.

By the way, my name's Raven.

Yosuke.

[He glances back up, and meets her smile with his own.]

I'm Hanamura Yosuke.

[She already knew his name since he said it in the message he posted on the network. But she needs in greeting nonetheless.] Nice to meet you, Yosuke.

So you're from Japan, right?

[Technically it was a prompt for a second name, but people around here seem to be good at making due with just one name.]

Uh. Yeah. How'd you know? I mean, no offense but where I'm from you would really stand out. So it can't be the same place.

[Oh, Raven got that perfectly. But Raven doesn't do second name, sorry.]

I live in California myself. But I know where Japan is.

Also I've been learning Japanese since I got here. Your name does sound like a Japanese name.

You have? How come?

[It seems pretty useless to him. There isn't even a Japan to visit here anymore, after all.]

Because one of my... friends here is Japanese.

[It feels a bit weird for her to admit she actually has friends here.]

Oh, someone is teaching you?

[Well. It's not very useful. But if his translator ever breaks its nice to think someone might understand him anyway.]
