[Emil still has a lot of doubts about putting himself out there to people he has little business getting involved with and just slightly fewer doubts about the device he's supposed to use, but after a startling run-in with some familiar faces he'd rather not think about again he's a little desperate for people who don't dredge up memories of the worst times of his life. Not to mention, he's still in need of information. So despite how technology tends to bewilder him, Emil sits down and plays with the device and reads instructions until he manages to set up a proper feed. The camera is a little off center and the angle is awkward, but hey - it works.]

Hi, everyone. My name is Emil Castagnier, and I need answers to some questions. First, does anybody recognize the names of Sylvarant or Tethe'alla? Because if so, we come from the same world.

[He's not sure if he should add the next part, but figures it's worth a look.]

Derris-Kharlan, too. I know there are some people from Sylvarant and Tethe'alla here, but I don't know how many.

And second...does anybody know more about the time travel that's done here, and the influences it has on this world? If anyone has more information about the weapons we're given here, I'd like that as well.

Yes, she is. There was some trouble, but some friends came to the rescue and she made it out all right. The last I saw, she was going to rest at your place.

But, Zelos...the worlds were reunited two years ago. At least, that's what I remember.

[No, don't think about it. Don't think about it. From the rest of what this guy says, it's definitely a different Zelos this guys knows]

...Alright. I can't do anything about it, so I'll just have to take your word for it.

[And thus the angry storm of Big Brother is calmed a little, though it's still said in the sort of tone that if he finds out Emil is lying to him- he's dead meat. He'll try focus on what Emil is saying instead]

Two years, huh? [...] Guess that explains why I don't know you, we're from different timelines.

[Emil's voice is decidedly neutral; he's not sure whether to feel glad that Zelos hasn't suddenly forgotten him or disappointed that Zelos could never have known him at all two years ago.]

I'm sorry for leaving so suddenly the last time we met. When you said you didn't know me, I thought something else was going on.

But hey, don't worry! Somewhere back in your world is a Zelos who knows you and is your friend. You haven't been forgotten.

[And Emil's back to looking bothered again, because he's still not sure Zelos two years ago would actually want to be friends without their shared experiences. But then he thinks of Mithos, and--yeah okay he'd rather brave the possibility of rejection rather than go down that train of thought again, so he keeps going.]

Is there anyone else from our world here? I've seen Colette, but I don't know anyone else.

[Oh, though if Zelos is from the past--]

If you've heard of anyone named Marta Lualdi or Richter Abend, they count too.

Well, I haven't heard those names...but I know I've seen Sheena, Lloyd, Kratos and...a kid named Mithos here. [carefully, since he doesn't know what this guy knows about Mithos]

[Emil visibly tenses at the last two names. Yes, it was them then. And oh goody, one of them lives right next to him.

Being Emil, he chooses not to openly talk about them at all. Because that'll make the problem go away, right?]

So Sheena and Lloyd are here too. I didn't know that - thank you.

Yeah, Sheena lives next door to me. Haven't seen Lloyd in awhile though.

[That's...weird. Was this guy in with Cruxis? Or the Renegades? It's not like Zelos knew everyone in those groups. Though someone from a human ranch wouldn't know about the top seraphim- that's for sure.]

[Being blissfully unaware of what happened in 95% of the first game, Emil assumes that means he's off the hook. Phew.]

They're not important. Lloyd, Sheena...I know them. But if you don't know anything about my time then they don't either, do they?

Hmm...Lloyd comes from an earlier time than me. But Sheena might know you, I think she comes from a time after me.
