[Emil still has a lot of doubts about putting himself out there to people he has little business getting involved with and just slightly fewer doubts about the device he's supposed to use, but after a startling run-in with some familiar faces he'd rather not think about again he's a little desperate for people who don't dredge up memories of the worst times of his life. Not to mention, he's still in need of information. So despite how technology tends to bewilder him, Emil sits down and plays with the device and reads instructions until he manages to set up a proper feed. The camera is a little off center and the angle is awkward, but hey - it works.]

Hi, everyone. My name is Emil Castagnier, and I need answers to some questions. First, does anybody recognize the names of Sylvarant or Tethe'alla? Because if so, we come from the same world.

[He's not sure if he should add the next part, but figures it's worth a look.]

Derris-Kharlan, too. I know there are some people from Sylvarant and Tethe'alla here, but I don't know how many.

And second...does anybody know more about the time travel that's done here, and the influences it has on this world? If anyone has more information about the weapons we're given here, I'd like that as well.

[He's never heard of that before, but it won't hurt to check. He lost most contact when he was transferred off of Derris-Kharlan, so who knew what had gone on in the last ten thousand years.]

[...A magic castle. Right. Emil has no idea where that came from. And how does that relate to what world he's coming from, anyway?]

We didn't get to know each other for long, but I was glad to call you my friend.

[It's how people knew him in the past okay!! And wow, friendship? That is weiiird ]

[His tone is clearly full of skepticism. It's not really anything personal against Emil, but having friends is nothing something he really knows back home as a normal thing]

[On the bright side, Emil, you won't get the usual snappish response the heroes of regeneration usually get about the topic]

Alright, then how exactly did we know each other?

[You have to ask the hard questions, Zelos. Emil already knows he's not going to like the answer that much, at least certain parts of it.]

You broke up a fight once when somebody was attacking my friend, and I was looking for Lloyd at the time. We didn't get along at the time, but later on, well...

[Zelos please don't kill him, he remembers how you were in Cape Fortress.]

The Vanguard took your sister, and we had to get her back. We fought together later on, too, when it seemed that someone was trying to unleash demons into the world and had to be stopped.

- What?!

[Excuse Zelos as he zeroes in on the one part. Three guess which part and the first two don't count]

Jut who the hell took my sister?!

[Yeah, Emil knew that was coming. Zelos's reaction still gets a stammer out of him, though.]

It--it was the Vanguard. Do you remember them? ...No, I guess not. They were formed to stop oppression of the Sylvaranti, but things changed and by that time the Vanguard was up to no good.

Stop the oppression of the Sylvaranti- what the? The world's are still separated last I checked!

But never mind that- is my sister alright?!

It's supposed to be for changing the future but I'm still waiting for a mission. To see for myself~

Yes, she is. There was some trouble, but some friends came to the rescue and she made it out all right. The last I saw, she was going to rest at your place.

But, Zelos...the worlds were reunited two years ago. At least, that's what I remember.

...Alright. I can't do anything about it, so I'll just have to take your word for it.

[And thus the angry storm of Big Brother is calmed a little, though it's still said in the sort of tone that if he finds out Emil is lying to him- he's dead meat. He'll try focus on what Emil is saying instead]

[Emil's voice is decidedly neutral; he's not sure whether to feel glad that Zelos hasn't suddenly forgotten him or disappointed that Zelos could never have known him at all two years ago.]

I'm sorry for leaving so suddenly the last time we met. When you said you didn't know me, I thought something else was going on.

I don't think it's a good idea either but at the end of the day, this is their world they're screwing up.

They probably don't know what they're doing either....
