Lacus, this is Kira.
I know this is sudden, but I was wondering if you were free tomorrow. I finished most of my work. I'd really like to go out and explore a bit more.
Would you like to join me?[ Text to Public; ]
My name is Kira Yamato and I am working on a project, to replace a civilian's leg with an artificial limb.
But I am lacking parts. The most important one is a microcontroller that serves as a brain of my project. If you know where I can find it, I would really appreciate it and it would really change this man's life. It would be much more convenient than making my own from scratch.

Text
How much less convenient could it possibly be to construct that yourself? It certainly doesn't appear to be a complicated design at all.
[Unless you're stupid. Which you may be; she's yet to finalize an opinion.]
Text
It would probably take me another month just to construct it using the tools I have now. And maybe another few weeks to work on the coding. Finding the materials to construct it would slow me down even more.
I would say it would hinder my progress by 20-30%.
Text
What kind of primitive tools are you using that would require such a ridiculous time investment? Weeks for even programming?
... Are you human? Such slow minds. A real shame.
[No superiority complex here!]
Text
Yes. I am human.[ This is a really strange conversation. ]
I'm ... sorry?
Text
[Welcome to talking to an Asura.]
No need to apologize for what you are. Not every species can be comprised primarily of geniuses.
Text
Kira is too shocked to really feel insulted. By human standards, Kira is a genius though. Which is why this was just very strange. ]
I see. So you are not human then I presume. I have heard that not only humans are brought here.Text
Oh, but if you do find a place which can supply serviceable mechanical components, forward the information to me. It would be useful knowledge for when I commence my own endeavours.
And of course I am not human. I am an Asura, a member of the most brilliant species in Tyria.
Text
I see.[ He'll just take his word for it then. Kira is also the type not to take things personally and accept fact. But, somehow ... bhe was beginning to understand how Naturals felt. ]
Of course. I will. If it isn't too much trouble. I would like to know your name so I will know who to forward the information to.Text --> Video
[And the feed switches to video. Here's a little flop-eared creature with big yellow eyes, very small in stature, and . . . are those pointed teeth? When she speaks, her voice has a slightly nasal quality.]
An Asura.
[Clears her throat.] Ah, yes. I am called Cissa. My apologies for neglecting introductions.
[She's actually not sorry. But she can be a bit more polite if it means she gets info on suppliers.]
Video
I am pleased to meet you, Ms. Cissa. And it is quite alright. I like to keep my privacy as well.
As I said earlier, my name is Kira Yamato.
I find it interesting to meet someone like you. Back home, there had been no confirmed reports of extraterrestrial life.
Video
[Rather than admit there is currently no interstellar travel at her time -- mental note: construct interstellar vehicles once she returns home -- she just goes with it.]
I highly doubt our two worlds would have been in contact, and for that matter could still exist on entirely separate dimensional wavelengths.
Video
I had arrived here with someone from my world but from a very different time from me. So the possibility of separate dimensions had occurred to me. However I haven't been able to figure out the why and the how.
