He's very slowly coming to terms with the fact that this isn't all some sort of absurd dream, and has decided that perhaps it's time to introduce himself. And he's prepared.]

Good morning.

To those of you who are listening to this message, my name is Miles Edgeworth and I am a prosecuting attorney. There is still much that I do not know about this world, and I would welcome all information anyone would care to provide, or directions to a place where I might uncover more about this place for myself.

After all, if am forced to remain here, then I expect to be informed of all aspects of my current situation in its entirety, from as many different sources as possible. I do not presume to speak for all of you, but I, for one, do not care to work for a cause that resorts to such underhanded dealings such as abduction and much worse to achieve its goals.

You, as a 'transport' who has also arrived under circumstances similar to myself, are the ones most likely to understand and share this belief of mine. I can only hope that you will be willing to assist me in this matter.

Really now? And why is that?

I've heard of some of the occurrences that have occurred before we were brought here. While someone should still be held accountable for genuine mistakes, if they do know what they are doing, then they know more about us than they would ever truly need, what with the possibly unlimited access to the inside of our minds. Ultimately, we would be wholly within their power, and that is something that I cannot abide.

Trying to gain access to the inside of our minds might prove hazardous to them. As far as some of us are concerned at least. But we won't allow it anyway.

And how will you 'not allow' it?

Personally I have my ways. And there are a lot of dangerous people among transports.

Powerful. And who don't like to be messed up with.

You will find, I think, that most people do not prefer to be 'messed with'. In what way are they powerful?

Weak people might not like being messed with either, but it doesn't matter much if they don't have powerful people to defend them.

It varies a lot from one person to another.

And who are you to classify someone as 'weak'?

Weak people are those who can't defend themselves.

I'm not calling you weak. Nor anyone in particular.

By the sounds of it, you would consider it relative. Correct?

[A shrug.] Why yes. We all have strengths and weaknesses. More or less depending on where we are and who we're facing.

And considering who we are facing, who would you consider powerful against the Initiative's enemies? [ Or against the Initiative themselves, he considers, but doesn't ask. ]

You don't expect me to answer this kind of question over a public feed, do you?

I was planning to visit the library later tonight. However, if that is not private enough, I'm willing to listen to alternative suggestions.
