He's very slowly coming to terms with the fact that this isn't all some sort of absurd dream, and has decided that perhaps it's time to introduce himself. And he's prepared.]

To those of you who are listening to this message, my name is Miles Edgeworth and I am a prosecuting attorney. There is still much that I do not know about this world, and I would welcome all information anyone would care to provide, or directions to a place where I might uncover more about this place for myself.

After all, if am forced to remain here, then I expect to be informed of all aspects of my current situation in its entirety, from as many different sources as possible. I do not presume to speak for all of you, but I, for one, do not care to work for a cause that resorts to such underhanded dealings such as abduction and much worse to achieve its goals.

[Underhanded, but not to mention preposterous. These sort of happenings should be confined to science fiction novels where they could remain. Unread. But he continues nonetheless.]

You, as a 'transport' who has also arrived under circumstances similar to myself, are the ones most likely to understand and share this belief of mine. I can only hope that you will be willing to assist me in this matter.

They brought us here to fight. You're a lawyer, right? They might send you on diplomatic missions, but until then, you're expected to train. [His cheerful demeanor has faded somewhat, his brow knotting with with concern.]

[ He doesn't think there's a esteemed prosecutor likes his mentor here who could give him further direction about that. ]

To use weapons and get stronger. Pretty much what you'd expect for a kidnapping-and-recruiting, except we're all sorta... varied. Not everyone I've talked to here is a soldier. [Not to mention Mahdi not being very soldier-like himself.]

Precisely. So I do find myself wondering just how refined their technology actually is.

Hmmm. It could be it's super-refined, but they just don't know how to use it. Like when I used the computer at the library, I always mess it up and have to get help.

... what use is it to have such advanced technology if they do not know how to use it properly?!

I don't know! They were probably just trying to fix this war situation!

If they truly do not know what they are doing, I do hope that they're prepared for the possibility that they might make their situation worse instead of better.

Regardless of what most people do, people in positions of power most certainly should. There are far too many lives at stake if they fail.

And how would you propose I do that? I doubt they would care for what I have to say, if I cannot back it up with something substantial. [ aka evidence ]

I find that yelling works sometime. And if that doesn't work, make them a sandwich, but put shampoo in it instead of mayo! [He should not sound so happy about that.]
