[The face on the screen is very human: a tall, well-built korean man in a dark blue winter jacket with white snow fresh in his hair. The accent, language, and name, however, match someone else entirely. Kang stuffs his hands into his pockets and leans against the wall of the office building behind him.]

I'm sure most of us that have moved on-planet have found lodgings. For those who haven't, or need repairs, I have more than enough experience with construction, and I can assist.

Several of the humans from this world, and from other versions of Earth celebrate a holiday called Christmas. I've become fond of some aspects of it: particularly, the giving of gifts to friends and family.

[Crucible recognizes the accent near instantly, yet that Kang had taken on such a form was something of a surprise. That he had the ability to was little surprise, rather that he had chosen to. His eyebrows raised slightly, a curious look.]

Kang.

[His expression grows a measure more neutral and serious as he comes to the matter at hand. One that had weighed on his mind in the days since they had organized the test that would, purportedly determine the manner of their relation.]

What do the results reveal?

A necessity in this climate.

[He shrugs, and pauses before continuing.]

Uncle. Or great-uncle. That was as close as it could tell without any of your clutchmates.

That is understandable, this climate is quite unforgiving.

[That much made sense to him, though the weather was little bother for the bronze it would be much worse for draconians.

He dips his head slightly in acknowledgment of the news, his expression unreadable for a moment. To know now at least to a greater margin where there relation through blood lay. A nephew then, or great-nephew rather than a direct product of his own eggs or a far more distant relation.

His thoughtful look remained for a moment longer before he spoke, his tone not unfriendly. Kang after all was one draconian that he would proud to have relation to. Though he may not admit it as directly as much.]

Uncle indeed, far from a distant relation then it seems. Even on Krynn however one would have difficulty locating my clutchmates, of those who remain at least.

[He smiles wryly. It's an attempt to inject some humor into the situation.]

You'll understand if you aren't invited to family functions.

[The next part is serious, and it's a big thing for him to allow.]

I'd prefer you keep our relation quiet, unless it comes up directly in conversation. Aurican, of course, is mine to deal with.

Bridges, actually, and siege engines, but I've had to build my fair share of lodgings as well.

With the noise, I figured. [ Very hard to miss. ] By the way, did the extra heater in your room end up being enough for you?

The quicker I get the materials, the quicker it'll be done.

[He nods, and smiles.]

You're Kang? Well met. I'm Fili, brother of Kili. [A brief pause.] He may have your blade for you soon, now that we're no longer trapped up there. [He motions skyward with his head.]

We've met before. This isn't my normal form.

[He smiles.]

Yes, I'd almost forgotten about that.

[He pauses, surprised.]

Have we? [Let him just take another few seconds to search his memory.] ... So by that you mean you've only disguised yourself as a Man...?
