Yes, we were. We did what we could, when we could, for that synagogue. We've got our work cut out for us here, too.

Where do you think the best location would be?

Somewhere not as densely populated. If troops arrived or a fight broke out, we want to minimize the damage and not drag the Exiles into it.

[ As much as they can anyway. ]

But somewhere we aren't cut off from food and water. I don't know if we can manage the two.

There are mountains further north, I believe. Those would be best for defense.

Can we make the trip?

[ That's her worry; between being cut off from resources or being close to them, she can't decide which is worse. ]

I'll be investigating the undergrounds. Might be bunkers or fallout shelters somewhere. I'll let you know if I find anything useful.

With the snow and ice, I don't know. There are no train systems that I know of existing here. I do know a couple of dragons that would be willing to check on possible mountain locations near resources.

[For all he knows, they've made their lairs there already.]

Very, when they want to be. One of them is highly skilled with magic; he easily puts mine to shame.

Is magic untraceable?

Unfortunately, no. We don't know if the UE here has ever encountered magic, though, or has any means of tracing it.
